Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

My mom and dad got married when she was 19 and he was 28. They dated 6 months before he proposed and married after a year together. 32 years later and going strong.

My husband proposed after we'd been together over a year. We'll celebrate our first wedding anniversary around Thanksgiving 🙂

I'm going home tomorrow - 4 hour car trip plus stops. 😉 The girls were wonderful on the drive down so I'm worried they're going to make up for that on the drive home tomorrow.

I haven't gone to mass in forever

me neither. My husband and I were talking about that the other day. We really don't like the churches around here, though.

For example, when we got engaged, we went to the local priest for help because my husband was married before to a non-Catholic and we needed to get a Catholic annulment. He gave us all the papers and everything was fine, but then he asked why we didn't attend church regularly in town (I just moved out here and went to another church). He didn't like that answer and told us we better start coming to HIS church otherwise he wouldn't write a letter of recommendation to the priest that was going to marry us. I thought that was weird and rude, especially since we didn't need a *letter of recommendation* since we were getting married in the church I received 1st Communion and was confirmed in, and my parents are still parishoners there.

Anyway, I would love to attend mass at the Newman center at NIU but it's too far 🙁

I consider myself a faithful person, but I also have a huge problem with the business like aspects of churches these days. I understand that they need money and that's ok, but sometimes they don't seem very genuine to me (like in your case) Like in your case, he was probably pissed because you weren't donating your $$ to his church

wow guys you were all up really late. i didnt get to go home early yesterday so i was at the GYN ER from 7am-7pm. when i got home i was gonna go to the supermarket but all i managed was to make a couple of phone calls and then i went to sleep at 8. yeah i know, 8. 😱 at least i got 12 hours of sleep, i think that made up for all the 4-5 hour nights last week.

I think that is the basis, moving the hair in the follicle can get a closer shave. I'll still with the regular ones 🙂

here's one to reclaim this thread for the women:
I often get yeast infections (thank you fibromyalgia)...seeing that it is Saturday and my doc is unreachable until Monday and I hate Monostat things and such...hubby was entertaining himself by reading about holistic treatments online. We have the following...

1. topical yogurt (which I have heard of before)
2. acidophillus capsules (orally)...already took 5 billion units this morning
3. acidophillus capsules...used topically
and the one that brought him great joy...

4. inserted whole, fresh garlic clove

Why you not like monastat. One day treatments are out! They have topical for alleviating some of the itching.

September 10th it's back.

We're both non-travellers so we were thinking about going somewhere foreign or exotic. Maybe Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas where it is all inclusive and just kick back and relax.

I'm sure you're going to want to go somewhere and veg after all the planning and the big day. If you're looking beach, Caribbean is the way to go although mexico has some great places for less. I was looking at a great place in Cuba that was shot down by the hubby. No supporting commies 🙁
