Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

All sorts of things. My favorite was when I was a psych pt. The students had trouble believing I was actually nice when I broke character. I hated giving them a hard time, but most handled it really well.

Awww - poor med students!! They're like little lost sheep. At least that's the impression I got at UTMB. The first years look so clueless! 😀

So tons of people from San Antonio match into Anesthesiology... that's interesting... I wonder why. I know a guy that works with the med students down her in the Anesthesiology dept. He didn't have great or bad things to say; he said they just seemed average.

I'm actually interested in that. I love primary care but I know it will be HARD to have kids if I do that.

They are "tags" for those three services in which you can "submit" to an account you might have with them. Like VD said, you can have "bookmarks" as well as "tags" for this service to organize information.

It also gives SDN more exposure in "searches" and what not.

(though not too much sympathy because you did it to yourself :laugh: plus I don't think I've ever been really hung over, except when I took the PSAT)

Oh I don't have much sympathy for me either 😳 I am feeling better as the afternoon goes on. But it's been ages since I've done that and now I know why. I'm good for another 4 yrs!

Ok, I'm sorry, I don't mean to make light of your problems. I hope you get a hold of your friend soon. In the meantime, how are the apps coming along? Any new interviews?

I have a question...we all know that almost all med schools require 6 credits of english..I have 3 right now..to resolve this can i just take 3 this semester and put it down as Fall 2006..or could i even put it down as Spring 2007 if i wanted to take it next semester, or is that not even an option?

OMG, I'm so sorry to hear that 🙁

I hope you can get ahold of your best friend soon. I know it helps to have someone to talk things out with even if you can't stop the peson's fall to rock bottom.

I've got friends coming over who hate football so none for me. 😡 though I will be signed on AIM to get updates from friends 😀

I finally got ahold of my best friend. Feel tons better about the situation now. It was the guilt that was killing me and I feel much better now. Still not solved -may never be solved - but at least I feel better.
