Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I ate two baskets of breadsticks there once. I didn't even realize til my friends told me I was taking it a bit too far, lol. They're my favorite, though. Same with their salad dressing.

I know I'm a competitive applicant - it's just the whole "I'm going to have a decision very soon" that makes me so nervous. And I'm so nervous about not getting in ED and then having to wait until April (or longer if I'm wait-listed) to know if I'm going to med school or not.

I haven't had a cold for a long time. That's really amazing with the kids around. Their colds have really become less frequent since we pretty much quit the playgroup and they only play with one other girl my older daughter's age. We were getting sick about every month before then.

Of course, with my luck I'll have a horrible cold by Friday. 😉

My dad wasn't a fan when we went. He thought it would be a circus and he was PLEASANTLY surprised and actually really liked it. He's a manly man and doesn't like effeminate things. :meanie:

Yeah, I'm going to start soon, probably next weekend (that's what I say every weekend so far *sigh* ) But no, really I need to start reviewing physics and chemistry.

No more talk of exams tomorrow! Y'all are just reminding me that I have one tomorrow morning that I haven't prepared for nearly enough.

Seriously - I can't stand this psych class so far. I really hope it gets more interesting soon.

Finished physics and ochem HW. I have an Ochem exam on Tuesday, but I'm going to study tomorrow evening for that. I've been diligently keeping up with readings and homeworks so I should be prepared.

Still have that pesky billing to do, probably next weekend.

We had a practice exam, so I'm checking answers online. Apparently I'm good at determining formal charge ( 👍 ), pretty competent at naming alkanes ( 👍 ) and not-so-hot on converting linear configurations to Newman structures ( 👎 ). Working on that.
