Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

A few years ago someone kept asking me what I wanted for my bday, and she actually seemed to believe me when I kept saying "a 6-foot ficus". :meanie: She told me she couldn't fit it in her car. I told her I just liked saying "6-foot ficus". 😀

hey durden, we can trade. I'm re-writing my physics lab report, as apparently the format that got me As all last semester is insufficient to get a B this semester. never mind that the new TA gave us no guidelines on how she wanted it done until TODAY. 😡

Unfortunately it's an analysis class, not create your own. 🙁

But if the prof asks me to do some extra work when I miss class for interviews, I'll be sure to bust it out.

it shouldn't, it just makes sure it's definitely going to be stained...the ethanol is a strong decolorant for crystal violet anyway.

A feminazi (such as yourself 😉 ) would probably do better than me anyway on my current paper. He assigned me "The Victory" which is all about a mom hating her baby for the pain it caused in childbirth. Ugh, all the imagery in it has ruled out OBGYN as a future specialty.

I'm barefoot and am going to eat dinner my mom made me. 😀

I forgot my car keys when I went out to take out my trash so I don't have my Halloween decorations yet after all. 🙁

oh- I know of which you speak! that's where I stayed for my undergrad SLU campus visit. hahaha

The worst part of it was that Wash U didn't even pay for it for path interviews! But we all had to stay here because that was where they picked us up in the shuttle. So I paid my own money to stay in that craphole.

I do much worse on average....I go to stuff like Motel 6, Botel of Death, etc. When left to my own wallet, I don't even go for Holiday Inn.

I was going to say I didn't think the Chase was refurbished when you were interviewing, but you're talking residency, not med school, aren't you? It was DEFINITELY open last year. That sucks. The least they could have done was put you into The Parkway, which is about 1 block from the med school. 👎 😡

Yet another reason for me to snub them before they snub me. 😀

Yeah, I totally know what you were saying. Most Best Westerns are more than adequate. But this particular one has issues. 😱
