Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Good luck finding the BK mask. They were getting a lot of money on Ebay when they first came out. Do you know where to find it? It's a pretty elaborate costume, lol. Over $100 easily.

How do I find some funny videos online? I have already watched every WoW video in existence. And I have 52 minutes until seminar, and I'm not studying anymore.

I should have gone HOME and studied, and played WoW, and then come back for conference! Ahh, who am I kidding though, if I had done that I just would have taken a nap. At least this way I studied EM and endocrinology. Blah.

ok, first exam done. And I think I did pretty well. I'm glad I studied the really minute details. She asked them! A few I just guessed on but I'm hoping high B or A in here. 😀 :clap:

Now, off to grab a bite and do some titrations in quant chem lab and then study for my ochem exam tomorrow.

Oh and I told 2 people about SDN today in my class :meanie: Only one knows my screen name though 😉

I have lost any tolerance I had for being sick. This is getting really old. Ok, wait...it was old 4 days ago. It is now downright ridiculous.

I always have vertigo when i take off my lab goggles after orgo from only being able to look forward.

I like Orgo lab also, and so far I understand most of it. I think we have a pretty good professor, just that his exam was a lot tougher than the practice!!! 😡

that's almost a 90!! yeah that's good for orgo--esp. since it was your first test and you didn't know exactly what to expect

"Is this good?" Are you kidding me? That's AWESOME. I had less than a 70% avg after my first two orgo exams and still worked my way up to an A. If you start out early with a grade like that, you're set. 👍

Apparently I wasn't the only person in my psych class who thought the exam was ridiculous. She returned them and then spent 20 minutes defending it when people started talking to her about it. I didn't even have to say a word.

Ummm, don't you think she'd see that as a sign that there was something wrong with the test??? I've never seen that in all my years as a college student.

The average was a 73, though which did surprise me. I expected it to be much lower. My O. chem class had exams with an average in the 40s!!!! :laugh:
