wow. I didn't really notice that, or thought it was just glare. well I change my "(s)he" to "he" then. CLEARLY that's a boy penguin. :meanie:

Wish you all were here, too! They're staying downtown, which is going to be a MESS with the game tonight! Wish me luck finding parking!

Well I drank all my wine stash so now I need more. But its oktoberfest time so I would like to drink some spaten but I have no drinking partner 🙁 Plus I won't be here for oktoberfest in my town anyway (they have a huge party right down the street from me 😀 ) but still its sad.

yay for cutting down on drinking! But you've had to due to illness ... although S. viridians don't like alcohol so ... but the antibiotics don't like alcohol either 🙁

it was a really good movie... some parts were a bit overacted, don't you think ? Wahlbergs character was ridiculous, and the ending was a bit much... but I was very entertained. It was an interesting way to tell the story too

Question to Molly or Q,

Do you know anyone at Yale med who could answer a friend a few questions about the school??? Or do you think you might be able to answer a few questions based on your past interview experience there?? Someone wanted to know for their secondaries. Actually this for the friend of mine that Molly helped with personal statement some time back.

Social rounds are basically a weekly party that gets held in the med student lounge in the hospital every Friday from 4-7 pm. A group of the 4th years run it, and they have a few refrigerators full of just about every beer you could possibly imagine (2-4 bucks per). Plus they always put out pretzels and chips and stuff to snack on. Every week a different faculty member comes to be an honorary member of the bartenders. There's a pool table and foosball and an arcade game console and a big screen TV. The money that gets made goes into the senior class social fund, I think.
