this is our stress relief thread....or our group anxiety thread, whatever..... 😀

for those of you that have no idea what the mcat random threads are about, check out molly's explanation:

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Do you go to court for speeding tickets? I have just been paying mine. People have told me to go because the cop doesn't want to go and lots of times it will just get thrown out. (I mean, I was definitely speeding, there is no disputing the actual facts. I would definitely go if I thought I had been unfairly ticketed).

I have tried this..on the same advice...and I have never gotten out of a ticket.

Justice was served today. Zero points in the second half for Louisville. Why? Because they actually faced a defense. Defense wins the game.

The funny part? I don't even care where Florida ends up anymore because I'm glad a Big East team will not play in the championship game. That would've been unfair as you saw today, they were not deserving.

I lol'd at the commentator saying Louisville and Rutgers recruit a lot from Florida and get what Florida, Miami, and FSU don't want. 😀 If UF gets a win tomorrow, great. If Spurrier wins at home in the Swamp, great, too! 😀

Nah...I know what's going to happen. UF will lose 1 more game and so will Texas (both probably in their respective conference championship games). USC will win out (over Cal, Oregon, and Notre Dame). Auburn gets leapfrogged because they play garbage teams and not in championship games. Michigan wins at Ohio State and USC moves up. Michigan beats USC 32-17 in January. Keep note of this because it will happen so I won't consider any of this crazy.

For the low chance happenings:

UF wins out (4 more games) and goes to the championship game, I think that will be crazy. Our offense is not good by any means and we will most definitely be underdogs by 2 TDs. However, if Texas wins out, BCS rank will be higher than ours. Possible OSU/Texas rematch, but I doubt it and would not like to see that (please no rematches in the championship game).

Plus WVU will beat Rutgers at WVU so that doesn't even matter. Notre Dame will lose at USC, they're out. Auburn won't get in because Texas will place higher than them. OSU/Mich vs Texas/USC. Count it.

I 100% agree with your scenario. I was just talking about this with my dad that USC would be in the NC game. He said no way.

College football, as great as it is, is ultimately flawed in so many aspects and that's why we could continue to bicker about whose conference is the best, who gets the higher ranked, who has the tougher schedule, etc......it will never end.

You can make valid arguments in every situation. I can almost garuntee that Neither Louisville nor Rutgers would be undefeated if they played in the Big 10or SEC or the Big 12. But I also agree with BBs argument that so many of these "powerhouse" teams pad their schedules with piss poor teams, citing the "power" of the conference as a reason. Louisville, would never be undefeated in these conferences, but they sure as hell could beat PLENTY of the teams in them.

Football is the one sport that just makes so much more sense in the pros, as much as I HATE to say that. I try to justify it with "every game matters".....but in the end, it always just ends up sucking.

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I am really weird though in that I really enjoy all this craziness every year about the polls, championship games, who will get in, etc. This year I haven't followed it as much (first year resident, and oh yeah, that WoW thing) but every year I just get huge enjoyment out of the whole thing. So much more so than a playoff.

yeah it's cool. we've gone with red tones before and they work for me. it's just the highlights that are red, but I think he did half-head, so there are a lot of them. actually, for what I paid I'm pretty sure he did half-head... a fool and her money are soon parted.

it was supposed to be "a really intense red", but it turned out "not as intense as I wanted it", which made me a happy camper, as his idea of "a little red" and my idea of it seem to be two totally different things.

it'll look faboo when it fades in a few days.

it depends on how good he is. you might be able to pull off some blond highlights- they usually work for me, but then again, we have different skin tones. I'd ask him what he thinks. and the worst thing that happens is he has to cover them later if they don't work.
