ok actually i'm depressed---sucked it up bad on my final. but the grading scale is usually adjusted at the end so i think i still may end up with the higher grade.


btw beary--i just put some halloween pics of my lil sis on myspace 😀

Alice is here. 😀 She came around 1AM this morning, 7lb5oz and 19.5 inches. My sister sounds so happy!!

My parents are going to see her this afternoon and I asked them to send me pictures. I'm driving down tomorrow morning. 🙂

Interview not starting til noon = friggin' nice

Waking up at 7:30 and not being able to go back to sleep with nothing to do in the house but play on the internet + friend doesn't drink coffee 😡 so none in the house = lame 🙄

NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!!!

So WashU MSTP adcoms made their decisions on the people in my interview group. If I were rejected, I woulda gotten a phone call at 1-2 pm today. Or an email saying that I was rejected.

HAHA NO NEWS!!!!

So now I have to wait for the MD adcom seal of approval. 1-2 more weeks 😱

Congrats Mr. T! At least at Iowa, if the MSTP took somebody, the MD adcom was just a formality. I think you're gonna be getting a pretty big acceptance soon. 😀

WashU told me that their MD acceptance isn't trivial - it can actually prevent you from getting in. However, the MSTP will strongly petition your case -- only 1 person out of 3 years (~300 interviewers) hasn't gotten in after getting the MSTP acceptance.

They call you only if you're rejected? That's crazy! If only they were so forthcoming about decision turnaround time with us poor regular MDs. 🙄

i hate the whole state of ohio... 😡

Me neither. That's not really a surprise though since I don't know how to make anything.

Every time I hear Christmas music (yes, they have started playing Christmas music on the radio already) it gives me flashbacks to interview season last year.

Also, I have half as much money in the bank this month as I did last month. WTF? 🙁
