Happy Birthday Ana!!!

Congrats on Baylor!!

😀 😀 😀 😀

congratulations!!!!

listen anastasis, medical school is medical school. ie, if you can cut it at Houston you will cut it at Baylor. no doubt in my mind, dont be scared by it. if you want to go to baylor, GO. 😎

Hon, you took the words right out of my mouth.

And Ana, you are the girl who got a 41 on the MCAT without even a prep course and with minimal amount of materials and you still think you are not smart. Your modesty is amazingly humorous!!! 😀 😛 :d 😉

Congratulations on Baylor and a Happy Birthday. The man upstairs must have been looking down on you and musta said to himself, Today is Ana's Bday so what can I give her besides Vin Diesel that would make her absolutely happy!! :meanie: :meanie:

Well the cost of living is obviously the same because it's the same town.

Here's how tuition and fees break down:
Baylor: $6,550 tuition + $5,198 in fees = $11748
Houston: $13,199 - $10,000 in scholarship = $3,199

So overall it'll cost me about $35k more to go to Baylor... whoa. I'd never done the math on that. That's not a huge difference.

And I guess jury is still out on finaid from Baylor. Maybe it'll be less than that in the end.

at some schools that 35k is not even half of one year's tuition. cough Temple cough!!

Hey now - the day's not over yet. 😉

One year a bunch of my roommates printed out tons and tons of pictures of Vin Diesel and stuck them all over my house with captions. It was the funniest thing ever. (They added some pictures of some other things I love like submarine movies and Frank Capra movies but mostly it was Vin and his captions were very naughty most of the time - glad no one from my work came over to say Happy birthday")

Peace out guys. I'm taking a nap. Will be back in a few hours.

Seemed appropriate to me today. 🙂 If you'd have asked me a year ago if I thought I'd get into Baylor College of Medicine I would have said, "Hell No."

congrats on baylor btw.
WTG!!
you make me proud ana

Ditto man, ditto.

Why are you not in Lexington? What the hell is going on with the Lou? 41 - 16 and it isn't even halftime yet!

I hope nobody has stanford winning in the first round 😎

The student ticket lottery was a joke. Wasn't publicized and tix are $150.

None of my friends ever seem to win the lottery for bball tickets. They're $150 because it's admission to ALL the games that day regardless if you just want to see one. So you basically forced to buy multiple tickets, but it's printed on one ticket. I'm not a fan of that.

There's no way I can top hippie birthday. Instead, I'll just revel in the fact that I was the first Randomite to wish her HBD on her BD.

But if you'll excuse me, I have some CBS to watch.

I think the sky is about to cave in here. Whoa! We have had 3 days of beyond beautiful weather and tomorrow we drop 40 degrees. Um, yeah. But, it went from light to "welcome to hell" in a matter of seconds. Wow. I wonder what happens next.

WTG on Baylor, Ana! Nice B-day present 👍! Happy b-day kiddo!

For you NCAA freaks, SIU is a sweet 16 pick. w00t! Let's just see them beat Holy Cross tomorrow night.

So did first 2 weeks of the EK 10 week schedule and have some catch-up to do on my 5-hour train ride to Carbondale tomorrow.

After tonight I'll be back on personal restraint until next Thursday 🙁
