How in the heck?!

On the AMCAS activity section - stupid question...
Past or present tense? Active or passive voice? Bullets or paragraphs?
I don't believe you.It happens too often. Either you've got an alarm or you've got ESP.

"shadowing has been done on a weekly basis..."If I remember from last year, it gets rid of any formatting you do so I'd go with paragraphs over bullets.
Voice depends on whether you are still doing it or not IMO.
No alarm. I must have ESP, badass. Now why can't I use it for anything else besides SDN posting. 😡![]()
I don't know, a doctor with ESP would be pretty cool. *Goes to a JD type daydream*
I am pretty cool, yes. 😎 😛
now come out of your daydream with some weird statement.

Instigator.Am I the only one who doesn't like Scrubs? 😎
Hey guys, random 🙂hardy🙂 question: when I freeze bread, can I freeze it in slices? My grandmother always freezes entire loaves, but I don't eat much bread at all, so it wouldn't make sense for me - I'd rather cut it up. Can I just freeze a slice and then stick it in the toaster to defrost? Is it gonna be yucky?
Instigator.
Hmmm, dilemma! What about freezing "sections" as opposed to slices? Slices may be a little to delicate and be yucky in the long run.
Here's a premed question. Do I really need to shadow? I volunteered at a community clinic as a patient educator/counselor for 3 years, and then at the hospital, and was able to talk/interact with various doctors at both places. However, I've never done the whole "follow the doc around all day like a stalker" thing. Do I really need to? I could ask my FP, he seems very nice, but I just don't wanna bother him, to be honest. I personally don't feel like I'd greatly benefit from it, but do you guys think it would make life easier for me at the interviews?
I was actually originally a patient at the clinic where I ended up volunteering. And yes, it was a family planning/reproductive health clinic. We also got 1 free exam a year, so it was weird to spread your legs in front of a coworker/supervisor and be like, heeeeeyyyy, what's up.No idea if it helps or not, but I thought it was fun. 🙂 I learned a lot. I'd feel weird asking my own doctor, though. I was glad to not have a patient relationship with the doctor I shadowed (especially since he is an ob/gyn!)

I only eat bread when I make tuna melts, and normally all I eat for 2 days after I buy it is tuna melts, and right now I'm only in the mood for one, so I guess I'll wait.
I go on tuna binges several times a month. Usually they find me in a ditch the next morning.![]()

you called?![]()
You can freeze it in slices. I wouldn't put it in the toaster frozen. Instead, maybe take a few slices at a time and stick them in the fridge to thaw as you need them.
I personally just store my bread in the fridge, but I use it everyday for sandwiches at work/school
Hey hey hey! It's our other friendly Canadian randomite! 😀

Dude, your cooking is intense. I don't remember the last time I cooked. I'm gonna venture and say a week ago.I'm going to go fix dinner.
Braved Walmart this evening. I guess all the Walmarts in Chicagoland are doing a remodel and it took me 2 hours to find everything.
I'm excited tho - Now that I'm not working/studying 24/7 I can get back to preparing crock-pot meals for me and J. (From now on I will refer to my hubby as J. because it's easier to type LOL).
This week's menu:
Cioppino (Seafood stew)
Couscous-Stuffed Bell Peppers
Ratatouille (in honor of Anastasis 😉)
Red Cabbage with Green Apples
Pork Chop Supreme
Chicken Cacciatore
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Yeehaw! How'd you like it 'round these parts?
Wow, good workout tonight! I freaking ripped through the gym like a tornado in 45 mins, then crawled home, drenched in sweat.
Me too! Go Sens! She's baaaaaaaaack! (And cheering loudly for the Sens)
Yeah, I had a bit of jetlag coming back from being out west. It messed up my schedule big time.
