Well, I don't really care if you don't like her political views or something, I just think it's tacky that the first thing you gotta say about an overweight woman is "cow."

and knowing Durden, which I do as he has graciously allowed me to buy him dinner twice now, he was likely commenting on her attitude and crassness, not her weight.

No, I got the point that you are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill here.

This is not the thread to start arguments with. If you look at previous Random threads you'll know that, barring profanity and inappropriate language, we can vent all we want here. We don't physically attack each other, so we MYOB when someone has a beef about a non-randomite.

Which is why we can write about the minutae of our daily lives and this thread not be closed.

I don't understand why you consider agreeing with such statements "MYOB" but disagreeing with them is "making a mountain out of a molehill." Plus I don't know why you have to drag this whole discussion into politics immediately. My whole beef with this was that *I* was offended by the "cow" comments. Which is why I said I don't care if you or anyone else thinks the person is "self-serving," "wrong," or whatever you may think about their political views, personality, or other non-physical aspects of them. I just take offense when the best a person can do is attack someone based on their weight, appearance, and other physical characteristics. I'm sure if someone in this thread was attacking a "non-Randomite" based on their gender, race, etc, you wouldn't be "MYOB"ing. And so while YOU may think it's acceptable to attack someone based on their weight, *I* don't. And as I said, this is in no way a political discussion.

Well, maybe YOUR definition of cow is more narrow than others. Why are YOU offended by what Durden and I said about Rosie anyway? Please don't tell me you're now the Random police.....

PS If you don't like what Durden or I have to say then skip over our posts. No big thing. I can assure you that I skip a lot of random posts because they are full of info I don't necessarily need or want to know.

I have taken personal offense to your cursing and using of the Lord's name in vain since you arrived, however, I have not said anything. I would back off of Meg if I were you, she is the one who talked me into not calling you out on the thread. The attitude that you have thrown at the Randomites since you arrived has not been appealing. I do suggest that you review the first 20+ installments of the Random thread and see how it has been done. This is not an outlet to be made into your personal blog. Many of us keep blogs, may I suggest that you do the same?

Woooo girl fight while I was gone.

In other news, I made an 80 on my A&P II "opportunity". Sounds awful, huh? Well, the high grade was 82 and everyone besides him and me made sub 54. 😀😀

He doesn't curve per say, but our grades are based like this:

90% of the highest average in the class and up = A
80%-90% of highest average = B

So i'm definitely sittin pretty 😀

Lawl. And since Durden has met me and knows I'm not a "petite flower" myself, I highly doubt he was looking to offend anyone weight-wise. He certainly didn't offend me, and I've got 70 pounds to lose.
