sorry.. i can't even blame the eggnog for that comment. and now i have to go to the mall. it is going to be hell but i am ready for battle.

happy christmas eve to all! (for some odd strange reason I cannt sleep any more.. prolly has sometthing to do with the mass qty of moms double choc chip cookies I got into last night)

Hey Randomites! Merry post-Christmas! I can't believe it's over. 🙁 The past couple of days were such a whirlwind. I literally pulled an all-nighter trying to get everything ready to go the night of the 23rd . . . which means that I did the big Christmas Eve celebration, including Midnight Mass, on no sleep . . . thankfully I thrive on socializing, so Christmas Eve itself wasn't too bad, but as soon as my butt hit the pew for Midnight Mass, I knew I was a goner. I nearly fell over a couple of times when we had to stand! I have been away from student all-nighter mode for too long! Med school is going to be a rude awakening! (if I ever get in . . .)

In other news, history was made today!! For the first time in two years (since we first got our dog), we slept in past 8am! Our alarm clock is typically Ginger's incessant whining (which takes place at sunrise and does not stop until we arrive at the dog park!) . . . she might quiet down for five or ten minutes, but never more. Today, the whining never even started! I woke us up at 10:45!!!! 😍 She was one tired dog, I think! (There are three other dogs here - one of whom is her sister - so she has been playing up a storm!)

Yay for sleeping late CultureDoc!

Dentist Appt in the morning 👎. I absolutely HATE the dentist (well, I love my dentist himself, I hate going there).
Mama said if i'm good she'll take me to gamestop to get another DS game. Hahaha. Sad when you must bribe a 22 year old.

I'm trying to wean myself from playing and back on my fulltime MCAT schedule, reminding myself that come April I'll have plenty of time to play...

It's my birthday today and I had to write a stupid microbiology final! URGH! Well, at least it went well. I'm 100% sure I'll have at least an A in this class, and based on the exam, I think I have a very good shot at an A+. I also found some scholarships that I can apply for in the spring in addition to the award I got a few weeks ago (I will reapply for that one, as well, but they only give them out once a year in December), and I think I have a reasonable chance.

Anyway, despite the final, I've already found time to indulge in some After Eight cheesecake (YUM! 👍). I'm gonna go to the gym in a little while to work it off and then go out with my friends later in the evening. Unfortunately, I have one more final on Monday, and I also have a lot of other work to do before then - 1.5 orgo lab reports, 1 microbio homework assignment, 1 enviro chem homework assignment, a short enviro chem paper, and 1.5 chapters of enviro chem to read....and then another final Friday! BUT I WILL GET THROUGH THIS!

*off SDN for another week or so, probably*
