Despite the threat of being banned by certain evil Randomite moderators on power trips, I couldn't resist posting a nice set of breasts.

Happy Thanksgiving Randomites!

I need some opinions. I'm in a medical protozoology class in grad school and we have a lab final coming up. There's no class this week so the prof won't be in the buildng. The key to the lab was given to friend X and her name and dorm room number was made available to the lab class. Friend X has been admitted to a mental hospital for unknown reasons and so the key is with her and there is no way to get it. I'm pretty sure people have been calling her like crazy trying to get her to unlock the lab to review the slides for the final. Do u think the prof should give us some slack since we haven't been able to get into the lab? Its tuesday night and the exam in friday. I doubt she will be out anytime soon (maybe tomorrow night) but that only leaves 1 day to review a semesters worth of slides. If you were the prof what would you do?

Few can rival my thirst for learning. My last orgo reading involved picking 1 chapter out of 3 options, and I picked the easiest one (lipids out of lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids) AND the shortest one, at only 15 pages (vs. 25+ for the other 2).:hardy:

at least i'm caught up with some things... my grandparents may be spending the night with me tonight (they are coming to town for my baby cousin's christmas play at school) and i'd like to be able to spend a bit of time with them. as of now I'm down to orgo test due in the mornin (almost done) and a cell phys one friday.

the best way to amuse ourselves in physics: have someone call the profs office (next door) and watch him go back and forth between the office and classroom... hahahaha... wow, our physics class sucks doesn't it?

Your physics class may suck...but my fried oysters with horseradish sure didn't!:hardy:

I love it when Safeway is forced to have sales on freaky things that nobody besides me will eat.

Would've had them raw, but the expiration date was today, so I decided to cook them instead just to be safe.

You know your life is outrageously boring when . . .

you haven't had anything even remotely interesting to post on the RANDOM thread in several days. Pa-thet-ic! 😴

here, how's this:

Micro grades are up. Honestly, I didn't try very hard in this class. There was lots of extra credit which accounts for the grade that I got, with which I'm quite satisfied, given the amount of effort I expended (or didn't, really). I'm talking probably close to 100 points of available extra credit throughout the course of the semester. 😱 The prof made it VERY clear that she was being generous, and I have to agree with her.

I got an email through Blackboard an hour ago- from one of the annoying chicks in the class- basically saying "A group of us are REALLY unhappy with our grades, b/c she said she'd curve and she DIDN'T. We're going to talk to her tomorrow at 2pm. Who wants to come with us?"

🙄 😡 :beat:

Gosh folks... do the extra credit, take your grade, and move on.

I'm glad you're at least happy with yours Jochi.

Random:

My neighbors are drunk and annoying. Grrr. They better shut up fairly early or I'll go tell them to move the party to the other side of the apartment please... my bedroom backs up to the breezeway where their door - which is normally slammed and opened a million times in these situations - is.

I'm so not in the mood. 😡

you call it coercion

I call it incentive for you to behave.

oh and I want my dollar back. I paid you to post something nice about Durden so he'd think people actually liked him, not for you two to gang up on me.
sorry no refunds! :d
i guess i will have to behave a little bit

Don't let her intimidate you Funky. We Randudes have to stick together against all these snarky and sneaky Randames.

I think it's just us two against the rest of them. We don't have numbers on our side.

Good lord, I'm bruised, exhausted, and too hyper to go to bed even at 1 AM...can someone remind me why I do boxing? 40 mins of strength training, 50 mins of shadow/heavy bag/sparring/mitts, and a 30-min run later, the pain in my elbows is the only thing that still reminds me that I'm alive.

Boxing = Million Dollar Baby

My mom's having a stress test this morning and an echo on Monday... she's been having increased shortness of breath and having to take more diuretics than normal... makes me a bit concerned. She's had diabetes for 35+ years and CHF is a co-curring diagnosis in some patients.. i'd rather it not be her.

I hope for the best for your Mom. I'm studying about that stuff right now...

The stress test went okay this morning, Mom seemed to do quite well and didn't have any adverse effects.. I picked on her about it before because we aren't exercising people so I figured she was gonna love running the treadmill.

Studying for tomorrow's cell phys test and finishing up my organic notebook so I can hopefully turn it in tomorrow. One more thing done before the holidays would be nice.

i was so psyced to hear a cool case or something but then when I got called in to the small room the person told us that jury duty was over for us when it was 11:30. 😡

Oh well, i got some christmas shopping done afterwards.

my dumb ass forgot to eat breakfast so I almost passed out in organic. that was fun. 🙄

Dude . . . I'm not sure I could ever have that problem. My first thought when I wake up (after "do I have to?") is generally, "Yess!! Time to eat again!" Good thing I have a decent metabolism!

milk it while you're still young
when you get older it's much harder to keep your figure

BTW, Am I missing something or was this post totally and utterly out of the blue? It's certainly random, but on an entirely different level!

my post-bac program officially ended today. 👍

Celebrated with a 6er.

Taking a long vacation until Jan. 2, followed by 4months of MCAT study.
