Despite the threat of being banned by certain evil Randomite moderators on power trips, I couldn't resist posting a nice set of breasts.

geez

my grandparents always get me a sweater that i never wear

milk it while you're still young
when you get older it's much harder to keep your figure

Um . . . you feeling ok? You're sounding much more like a Randame than a Randude! Or maybe a Ran-grandmother! 😱 (in all seriousness, the saddest part about your post is that I'm probably way older than you)

:wow: HAVE FUN!!! I can already tell you that definitely beats any Christmas gift I'm gonna get.

What's going on peepz???

I just got done with finals Wed. night. Now I'm at home relaxing with my family.

Gosh its been so long since I've been on here. Last 3 weeks were hell with studying til 2am or 3am in the morning almost every night, esp. in the last 2 weeks.

Glad its over. Was such a relief when it was done but my first semester in grad school went well. 🙂

I hope you guys have had a great semester too and that all you M1s M2s and M4s on here are doing well too with med school.

And for those applying, I hope your app cycle has been going well.

Hi all...this is totally off the subject...like this thread has one. But, this was near my house and read this article this morning. FYI, the speed limit in that zone is 25mph. It is right in front of a school. This is terrible! http://styleweekly.com/article.asp?idarticle=15883

This is why I can't stand a lot of cops besides the security people at USF com and a few others.

They are so hypocritical. If it is a civilian non cop who is speeding it is fine to ticket them but they are allowed to what ever they want even when they dont' have a siren and real emergency to go to.

From my reading of that story the guy should be the one with charges and if I were her, I'd sue him and his insurance company because this is ridiculous. How is she getting charged when he was the one who passed the 25mph zone through a red light at 40mph?

That makes no sense. Life is sooo unfair sometimes.

Way to go! Wow - a whole week off before Christmas! Sounds luxurious (and hard-earned!) I don't think I've ever been fortunate enough to attend a school that didn't test right up until the last few days before Christmas (or at least fortunate enough to be done with finals early). And now that I've been working full time for the last two Christmases, I am SO missing even having those few days off right before. We don't even get Christmas Eve off here! You have to waste a vacation day if you want it off! 😱 Bah humbug to you too, Wash U!

Yeah. The med students have it worse. their exam is this coming week and they get off on the 21st whereas we got done Wed.

They only get 2 weeks. We get 3 weeks because we are on the main campus schedule.

Wow . . . I just read this. Atrocious. It's amazing how there's all this talk over "sharing the road" and cities being eco-friendly and cycling-friendly, but when it comes down to it, there is still a huge bias toward car-drivers. My husband is a cyclist who's been hit by cars on multiple occaisions, thankfully none of which he has been held financially responsible for. The drivers' insurance companies in each instance tried to weasel out before admitting defeat and paying out, but for a city to actually bill a cyclist is pretty ballsy (and really crappy). 👎

I just put almost an entire clove of garlic into the broccoli-cheese dip I'm bringing to this party tonight. 😳

party! woohoo! My next one is next weekend... and it's my sister's, so i'm more helping host than actually partying. However, parties are fun no matter what..

So, speaking of parties, how wierd is this?:

We're going to my in-law's in Louisville for Christmas, and they normally host all of their extended family at their rather large house for Christmas Eve. Everyone comes, you eat lots of food, the little kids open presents, etc. All good and fine up to here. But yesterday, we got an invitation to his cousin's baby shower . . . which will be taking place AT the Christmas Eve shindig.

My first reaction: WHAT?!? 😕

I guess I sort of understand the circumstances - the cousin and her husband live in Tucson and probably won't be back before the birth, and all of their family lives in Louisville and was planning to be at this Christmas thing anyway (so you don't have to go to two parties) . . . but I'm still not sure it's OK to hijack Christmas Eve for your baby shower. AND that kind of forces everyone who was going to be at this Christmas Eve thing to participate (read: bring a gift). And I'm not quite Ok with that either. I'm not sure we would have gotten them a baby gift (or if we did, it would have been after the Christmas season, when ye ol' bank account had some time to recover!), but now it feels rude not to bring one. The invitation even said that they're driving in from Tucson, so gifts are ok! Hmmm . . .

Totally random question - where do you usually buy a laser pointer? Would it be, say, in the school supplies aisle at Walmart or something?😕

I just got a $5 gift certificate to the Cheesecake Cafe in the mail and was considering treating myself to a slice...till I went to my online food diary and looked it up. 1050 calories, 71 g of fat, and 77 g of sugar no longer sound as appealing as they did before. I think I'll save the splurge for my birthday, where I get a free slice anyway.

I don't know if walmart has it, but if it doesn't, any store like Staples or an office max or Office depot (office stores in general) and also places like Best Buy or Circuit city would probably have that sort of stuff.

I'd assume the office stores would have it for sure though.

P.S. regarding the totally random comment, I think its safe to say that's not a surprise in a thread meant to be random.

OK, I just thought I should get one to entertain my cats. I'm also planning to get some ping-pong balls to entertain myself by throwing them at my cats.:meanie:

I just got one from Staples about a month ago. They're more expensive than I thought. Mine was $30. There was one cheaper one (probably about $20-25) but it was out of stock. Did I get ripped off?

71 grams of fat????? why???????? whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

on the way home from the office Xmas party, the dude in front of me slammed on his brakes, so I had to slam on mine, which caused the crockpot with the leftover broccoli cheese dip (the one with the clove of garlic mixed in it?) to lose its lid and spill all over the back of the driver's seat of my car.

I have no idea how to clean it out of the net pocket on the back of the seat... and the car REEKS. :barf:

Anatomy exam in less than 4 hours...and I'm still awake LOL....

Hahaha... yeah, that's how it's been for me this week, too. I'm done for now. Hopefully, I can enjoy two weeks of solid time with friends and family without worrying about school. I hope your exam went well. 🙂

Awww...yuck. Sorry to hear about that. I'm glad you are alright, though.

I'd probably take it to get it cleaned/detailed. Garlic smells can last for a while.

ugh sorry about the garlic dip---i'm glad you are ok though.

i was looking on yahoo answers and it looks like lemon juice + water helps remove garlic odors. also people were talking about Oxyclean.

That's such a good idea. I should do that and torture my mom's cat that way. LOL. bwahahahahahaha (evil laugh)

Thanks, it did! 95%...head and neck got OWNED.

I get to clean out the attic today!!! YESSS, this is only gonna take 15 Hours. Everyone else have a blessed day.

Well, I'm about to start a physics lab (the calculations part) and studying... My friend that I do a lot of stuff with on the weekend is working from 11-10 tonight, so it should be a rather productive day.

I'm beyond ready for Christmas break (and physics to be OVER... but that's Feb 🙁).

No snowstorm here, but the temperatures are dropping fast (15 degrees in the last hour and a half).

26 tomorrow night. Woohoo! Finally feels like Christmas

In other news, a 10 on a Kaplan PS section of a CBT FL. 👍
I think 30 is attainable this time.

Finished the Kaplan FL CBT (The one from the "big book", i'd never taken it before) with a nice balanced 31 - 10/11/10. I'm ecstatic. I know those numbers aren't great, but they are way up from last year (my Kap avgs were abt 26) and it was my "diagnostic" type test.

Time to start crunching concepts! Just had to update everyone with the goodnews.

In other news, I went to the mailbox and nearly froze... the cold front is definitely coming through!

In the words of Borat "very nice, High five!!!"

Haha.. thanks. I identified some weak spots to work on tomorrow and i'm also going to get cracking on the Science Workbook by TPR to just hone those topics til i'm sick of them. Put in about 6.5 hours today, so i'm feeling good. 👍

I would like to remind gradu8 that this is the Random non-MCAT thread.... 😀

In other news, I got 2 pans of brownies and a batch of cookies baked in the last 2 hours. I 😍 my new oven, and thank GOD I get to give all this crap away on Wed and Thurs.
