There is no way I'd ever want to pierce my own ears with one of those things much less someone elses. I'll prefer to let Claires dept stores do it instead.

Target definitely got some good earing selections going for a comparable price. I love the new trend in Chinese made earrings because they look a lot like Indian earrings.

Actually, a lot of the clothes, purses, and accessories, made in china are really nice in that they look a lot like Indian things. At least that's my opinion. I especially like the long earrings. Those are my favorite type.

"Alias" will be among the series in the Thursday-night dogfight, but fans can expect some changes, according to writer Breen Frazier. At Saturday's Writer's Guild of America cocktail reception, Frazier said star Jennifer Garner's pregnancy will be written into the series: Sydney Bristow will be pregnant, and Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan) will be the father.


"We are opening up whole new areas with his character," Frazier said. The new season will reveal what Vaughn has been investigating with the help of a rogue female intelligence agent.


Frazier said the pregnancy will give Syd "new stakes." With a pregnant Garner unable to do as much stunt work, a young CIA trainee, played by Rachel Nichols of "The Inside," will "allow us to see how Syd became Syd." A new male character will be added to the cast to replace series regular Greg Grunberg, who will depart. Actresses Mia Maestro and Lena Olin will both return for some appearances, but Lauren Reed (Melissa George) is out of the picture for good.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh sounds OH so good. But thurs nights? 🙁 I hope that means lost is moving to thursdays as well. This is going get good. I'm also getting this is going to be a flashback season about how syd was trained ...

Sad to see greg go. I liked him in his character.

and :clap: YAY FOR LENA OHLIN FINALLY COMING BACK. We all questioned it and when she came back last season I was like :wow:

nope... she was actually normal.... that may change after a few more meetings....... 😉

she had gone through more than half a day of orientation when i saw her though so that might have beaten some of the crazy out of her

A, ofcourse I am normal. Msssshead – I don’t let people see my crystals the 1st time I meet them! Omg A after u left the crazy crack lady came and then pulled McDonalds from the rubbish bin and sat across from me and jabbered to herself. I wish you hadn’t left so I could prove to you all the weird stuff I have seen at UM. She was like getting angry because the cup she pulled had ice only and not much drink left. The whole time I pretended to be very interested in trying to avoid sunstroke.

To Whom It May Concern:

Things A –lied about:
~He is not the secretary.
~They did not serve us pizza as he promised.
~I did not get a gym bag – I got a laptop bag which I will gift to a sibling if I decide not to buy them a bday gift and blow that cash on a pop tart factory - so I suppose its SOMEWHAT useful.
~My lunch cookie was oatmeal – apparently everyone else got chocolate.
~I parked on the roof and the sun blew up my car and the leather burned my hiney – he said my parking would serve me well – well to hell?
~The orientation was SOOO draining -also was the 1st time in 3 months i wore something other than elastic waist gym shorts. i felt so ugh hot and dirty and all irritated.


A: i expect pizza tomorrow. notify the authorities. you cant go around promising us greasy pizza and serving me low cal stuff and healthy-ish cookies. this is america. your lies will not fly here!

i will be normal tomorrow too
i slept like 4 hrs last night
i just got home from the bank and am leaving again at 8 to start moving my belongings and then driving bk south to my parents at 10..so yeah tomorrow i will be extra cranky so make sure my aparagus is crunchy but not stringey - and my ketchup should have that fresh vinegar tinge.

i've actually seen people digging through the trash in front of the library so I believe you on that one... still freaky though 😱

Now... let me respond to your accusations:

(1) secretary? yeah ok... people she's crazy again
(2) pizza is for friday not thursday....... maybe 😳
(3) that laptop bag is HOT... lucky first years, all we got was a basic gym bag and you guys get this awesome laptop bag... we can trade if you want 😀
(4) i think they put oatmeal cookies with the turkey sandwiches, i got an oatmeal cookie too
(5) you've lived in miami forever... hello.... dont park on the roof if you dont have to
(6) i had massive headaches after both orientation days last year, EVERYONE even peripherally involved in medical education comes to talk to you.... i thought i had warned you about that

YOu embrassaedds me in front of the smancyfancy sales people
they told me they dont bite!

i snatched a info folder and then tensed in fear when he turned around and said " go on ..you CAN have one..we dont bite."

after which i snatched it and turned away like a traumatized monkey
now i am nuzzling my "terry cloth on a wire frame" mother and crying 🙁

i wonder what my society is and if we can have those crests to wear on our jackets and such 😳
