you're such a bad influence yaah. she needs to finish her thesis damnit!

Andy you are right. Notice that my "impressive increase in posting" has coincided with "thesis writing" 😀
At least I will drag myself into the lab tomorrow and feel like I have to work on it since everybody around me is working. I feel guilty going to SDN at work for some reason.

Yeah I don't post much from the hospital either. Occasionally I do, usually in the early morning.

oh come on. people look at CNN, ESPN, porno, stupid video sites, etc at the lab. SDN is not a bad thing.

it's funny, once my boss saw that i was on SDN a few days ago. i think i was on this thread actually. he saw my diedrich bader icon and asked, "who the hell is this andy milo-- [he couldn't pronouce the last name right]". i replied, "dunno, never heard of him."

WTF is up with people changing their avatars every 5 minutes???

Screw that. I'm going back to Kim Jong Il.

No, I'm saying it's possible to talk to 3 chicks on the phone at the same time, you dingo-bat. :þ

Yeah it's possible, but pretty soon the chicks would start talking about shoes and bra sales and the conversation would deteriorate.

Today's signout was like night and day compared to signout last week. We went through a foot and a half stack of slides including a few difficult cases, got them all signed out except for one which is getting immunostains because it's a metastatic carcinoma from an unknown primary. Sheesh.

A mole.

Mine now has stitches that itches! 😡

The novocaine kicked in somewhere after the actual sampling and before the stitches were put in. Personally, I don't even know what the point of the novocaine is. That injection is typically more uncomfortable than most of the procedures I have had it used in. I had cavities filled without it once. I swear it feels no different.

I never had local for dental work as minor as cavities. But then again, I don't know how large yours were! 😉

Definitely appreciated the lidocaine before the nevus was taken out - though it hurt like all heck going in. I'm told technique makes a difference, but since I'm not about to repeatedly inject myself with lido to confirm this, I have no proof.
