Yaah, I must say that I'm disappointed in you:

- Cold weather >>> hot weather????
- A decided lack of love for spicy food?

Where is the yaah that I've known all my life??! Where?
It's heat intolerance. Clear and simple.

Really? I wonder what would happen if the man came on down to TX. Would he spontaneously combust???

AndyMilonakis said:
I think he would melt.

Okay, so I have no motivation to do anything else but go home and play "Halo 2" and "Call to Duty." Does this mean that I'm unfit to be a pathologist????

Absolutely not. You're talking to somebody who played Warcraft III for 2 years and traveled to LAN tourneys.

Sweet.

Alright, off to do said activities. Cheers!

Well, I am disappointed in all who are so weak that they cannot handle a simple zero degree day. I used to walk to class first period (I always scheduled myself a first period class) in the winter across campus in college when it was -10. Great stuff. Hot weather is for wussies.

Spicy food, I am not impressed with. Trying to hide actual flavor by disguising it with an assault on the senses. I am not fooled.

I don't know what to think about earthquakes and tsunamis. I felt a minor earthquake in massachusetts once, it felt like I farted or something.

Every time I look, however, death toll from this recent one has gone up by another 10k. Very sad. Islands are being buried, familes destroyed and ruined. But good to know that here in the US what we care most about is the supermodel who hurt herself and whether the UN is insulting us. 🙄

hmmm just want everyone to know that yaah was the second to last poster before the forums went down ... and i was the first poster when they came back up ... meaning YOU broke the forums and I fixed them 😀

as for the quakes ... i have just seen the videos ... i am heartbroken. iwould have loved to have seen it if I would ahve known I was ok and high enough ... i live for natural disasters ... but this is too much.

geezus...now the toll is over 80,000. this really is too much.

****...waitaminute...what am i doing posting here? i was supposed to stay silent!

And who's decree was this? Don't play by "their" rules!

Yes I broke the forums - I tried to post a message with a giant attachment which was an image of a liver trichrome with a hidden picture resembling Picasso's Guernica. Didn't work. Hey - that's a lot of prepositions!

this was a self-imposed decree...it was kinda like a new year's resolution type thingy...except i broke it, refused to acknowledge it, and made modifications to the resolution. the major stipulation to my resolution still stands damnit! i swear this on the blood of my future children. ... feb 23 right?

Perhaps you should change you avatar to someone with a little less proclivity for flaunting rules, creating his own, and then breaking them and blaming someone else for it.

I suggest a "meek" avatar, like a picture of former President Franklin Pierce.

i like my avatar. my fellow pyongyangians like it too.

yaah...go to bed...it's way past your bedtime.

I don't have to get up as early tomorrow. But of course I probably will anyway.

You didn't take my Franklin Pierce as avatar suggestion. Then again that's kind of random.

no no it was good idea...people like my Kim Jong Il avatar much better...those who know me in real life say that the avatar fits me well 🙄

Oh well...back to the conversation at hand...BTW, I still contend that it is the paleolithic era.

The counter-transference is strong in this one.
You two should switch avatars.

May I say how grateful I am that I am not your kid... and don't tell me it's past my bedtime!

Spicy food is like a good wine... or a perfume.
Or closer to the topic, cheese 🙂 Not everyone likes Danish Bleu.

An assault on the senses? But then, so is sex.

As for quakes and tsunamis...

I was sent this home video of the earliest waves reaching Penang Island, in the northwest of Malaysia close to the Thai border.
http://www.sinchew-i.com/special/indonearthquake/video/tsunami128.wmv

60 people dead, 100 missing: for a country geographically sheltered from most disasters, this is unusual - I think the video explains why.

I certainly have never seen a tsunami, nor know anyone who has.
At one location it took a Japanese tourist to raise the alert - he didn't like the white line on the horizon.

The silver lining? Malaysia got on CNN 🙄

your opinion is duly noted

I wouldn't know anything about that.

In regards to cheese, I must say I must claim ignorance. I enjoy good cheese, but can't really match the names and flavors outside of mozarella and cheddar. I also can get Feta, but I hate Feta cheese.

I did some work today, but then I left early and no one was the wiser.

I need a new avatar. Christmas was SO last week!

My mind was running to TV and movies. It's hard NOT to know anything when it's blatantly everywhere. For instance, I never figured out what on earth it was doing in an apparently family-oriented movie like Love Actually.

Bleu cheese is easy to tell. It's the one with the blue spots 😉 And a smell that can bring a horse to its knees.

Andy, I was simply saying that you and yaah should try on each other's avatars for size (and by yaah's I meant the presidential avatar) - knowing that it might not work so great! Pyongyang yaah and Franklin Il....

I haven't seen Love Actually. That sounds like a movie I would want to avoid. Oddly, though, people drag me to these chick movies and often I end up liking them. I hate admitting that.

Was it a chick movie? It had Keira Knightley. It was one of those wander-through-the-lives-of-several-different-people comedies. It was a neat movie, although the naked couple threw me off. Maybe they were trying to show that the Brits weren't as uptight as people thought? 😕

Can I even say "naked couple" on this forum?

yes you can say naked. you can't say cave***** though. that's only allowed in the Lounge. so it has been said, so let it be done! *BONG!*

sorry...women don't like monkeys. neither do cavewomen.

Man, all those Cal fans and their "we wuz robbed by getting left out of the rose bowl" business must be pretty quiet this morning. Talk about laying an egg!

I just got a late christmas present. a box of exotic jam and preserves. 🙁 I don't like gifts like that, although the thought is nice.

that wasn't a total chick film. That is my favorite movie of all time. I liked the story line and it was amusingly funny. I suggest! 👍 👍 plus its a christmas movie! Wanna borrow it?

Sure, do you deliver? I will trade you Dr Zhivago or Remains of the Day (but only temporarily - I have to watch them every couple of months or so).

The evil monkey is from the show Family Guy. The son talks about how he has an evil monkey in his closet, and whenever he talks about it they show the monkey pointing his finger at him and glaring. It's hilarious. They even have a back story - the monkey is angry because his wife cheated on him.

Speaking of great movies...I like Office Space. Just when I'm starting to feel motivated, I pop that flick in and back I go to slacker mode.

Anyone fire off any guns to celebrate the New Year near you? I thought that was a southern tradition, but apparently it is here too...Some great ads on tv where the police chief was saying "All bullets fired into the air don't just disappear, they come down and impact the lives of the people they encounter." and her suggestion: "Instead of firing guns into the air, hug someone." Yeah right! I'm sure all these idiots went around hugging people!

no no...i went to bed at 545 am. I'm just saying that I do pop in that movie every so once in a while.

yeah but 545 and posting? forget the movie? was dinner good?
I couldn't sleep...my last drink in the evening (or morning I should say) was vodka & red bull cuz I was pooped after midnight hit and I wanted to stay at the club a while longer.

Dinner was awesome! I unloaded $150 at this place and it was worth it cuz the food/drinks were very impressive. I love places that will serve wine with each of the courses. And I learned some more tidbits about wines there too...typical conversation went like this...
Waiter - "I recommend a cabernet sauvignon with the venison...now I have two kinds here...taste both and tell me what you choose. I will warn you that one of these two costs $25 per glass and the other one costs $12. But I'm not going to tell you until after you choose."
slurp...slurp...slurp
Andy - "...I really enjoyed the second one."
Waiter - "That's the $25 one."
Andy - "Well what are you waiting for? Pour that ****." (OK I made up the last part  ).

I love Family Guy - watched it in college then was pissed off when it was cancelled in favor of another "family friendly" live action comedy or whatever the crap they replaced it with. I have the DVDs now though and I have watched them all the way through a couple of times. You can borrow that one too but you would have to come over in order to watch it because I am not going to part with it. It's like my Monty Python anthology. Never know when I am going to want to watch an episode.

that sounds like fun though!$25/glass is a little steep for me though ... I'd want a bottle 😀

I hadn't heard of family guy, although crank yankers was good when it first came out ... how did I jump on jackass but then didn't know about family guy? Maybe b/c the guys are from my area and I new about it before ... dunno. And if yo uaren't going to party with family guy ... i might be forced to buy it. I can't associate with a red sox fan in public ... 🙄 :meanie: but itw ould be fun to stalk you and make you think you are losing your mind ... like gothika or swim fan (never saw that though but its stalker like)

Why does this forum need a mod? Path trolls? Wild threads? I'm sure you path people have some crazy times here ... :meanie:

I had to close one thread where I think people were calling each other douchebags or something. Other than that I have just made some threads stickies. I don't abuse my power though. :meanie:

I don't like Crank Yankers. I don't think it's funny. Maybe it's because I hate telemarketers so much and that show reminds me of it.

Stalking? Stalking doesn't have to be a bad thing. I was looking for a stalking smilie but none really fit the bill. I will allow you to stalk me though provided there is no violence.
