i wasn't saying that bananaface wasn't welcome. it's awesome when the cool lounge peeps actually come into our little world and spice up our day. the lounge IS full of life usually so i was just hypothesizing that the lounge is dead when people like mushy and bananaface come pay us a visit. i second the notion that bananaface and, and on 2nd thought, her STFU powers are welcome here.

Yes, the lounge is a lot livelier compared to our little corner of the world. Even at this time of the night (usually). Here it tends to be me and Andy taking turns to bonk each other's heads in. Whee!

yeah...here's a typical 4 am conversation:

Andy: I'm so drunk right now.
deschutes: You're such a pig****er.
Andy: I got so wasted. I hate studying for Step 2.
deschutes: I ate spinach and crackers tonight.
Andy: I need to put off Step 2 again...I don't feel like studying for it.
deschutes: I like flavoured water.
Andy: I'm gonna download a movie.
deschutes: I spent the last hour practicing my suturing skillz.
Andy: maybe I should do fitty questions
deschutes: my house smells because it's cold here.
Andy: you should tell your roommates to take a shower

It's water. But, it is probably preservative free and not sealed very well.

The lounge is usually dead by now. I go online at 11:30 my time (PST) and it's already died some nights.

I don't think a shelf life is applicable to a not for human use thing. I just noticed something else funny - under EXP it reads DDMMMYY. Apparently LOT 400050P is cursed by a 3 digit month.

I posted on the shoutout thread Friday morning. It was like a tree falling in the woods.

I was waiting for the bus on Thursday, and I thought of an acronym I had seen in the lounge that had puzzled me. And all of a sudden I started giggling uncontrollably, because in that moment all became clear.

I concur. I got -17 on one set of fitty and then -19 on another set of fitty. For some reason my best score is in OB/Gyn where I got -7 and -8.
 
Hungover you say? No, sorry. I did have quite a bit though, but as I have explained, I have some weird genetic mutation and am oddly not affected. And alas, no drunken hookups or makeout sessions for me. But I do believe I was able to convince everyone I was not gay.

While I cannot say for certain there were no other drunken hookups, I somewhat doubt it. I only "somewhat" doubt it because there was one possibility...but that is all you will get out of me as it did not involve yours truly. I think if I had put my mack on though it could have been possible...

yes...some weird genetic mutation and a clinical syndrome is becoming apparent. it may be some new hepato-endocrine syndrome. let's see so far we have a potentially high TSH/T4 and high GH. now the hepatic component must be worked up...perhaps this is related to the anti-sushi antibodies...i'll think about this after step 2.

I'm sure there was some craziness going on. But it's cool that you had a good time. If I had cancelled my last interview, I would've made it out to NYC too...nah, I would've have just went out on the town here.

Am not in Ann Arbor - am on long island for tonight and part of tomorrow. It is rather cold here too, and I think there is more snow here.

What's with the Bea Arthur references? I believe you have referenced (Andy has) her on a number of occasions. I, for one, used to watch Golden Girls with my mother when I was but a tyke. It was a great thrill to go to the movie studio and see the fake facade of "their house."

the bea arthur references? i remember on one of the comedy central roasts (i think they were roasting hefner, ya know that playboy guy)...some comedian said, "i wouldn't even **** you with bea arthur's d1ck..."

ever since, i have occasionally made up some bea arthur references of my own. however, i can't seem to top the above statement...that was sheer genius!

I loved the Price is Right too...great show. I liked the Barker Beauties except for Janis/Janice, and lots of the games.

For awhile, they had Press Your Luck on right before Price is Right, and it was this great game show block. Where have our game shows gone? 😡 Of course I am not home during the day watch them anyway so what do I care.

When you do surg path in Room 1, you'll see more of her; I think that's where she hangs most of the time. Do you do Room 1 at all this year or are all your surg path months at the VA?

You might actually be in luck this time...I think this one is actually single unlike all the other women you seem to run into. Of course, that was the impression I got about 2-3 months ago...things could've changed.

I have room I in march. VA in feb so I likely won't see her then. This will work out perfectly! She will either be gone on spring break or will have been snapped up by someone else by then. Either that or she won't remember me by then. Oh yes, this will most definitely work.

Get her email address; c'mon, you're creative and can think on your feet. Then work in a known 'cc' to Yaah which is quite natural when you hit on a subject of mutual interest; he can use his outstanding literary wit to break her defenses down. I think it would work (my friends and I have used such diabolical though harmless treachery in the past).
Maybe you and I can plan something out like Seinfeld and Costanza did in
THE ROOMMATE SWITCH.
