Wasn't yesterday Friday? I have you all beat. In honour of the Canadian Match Day, my dinner was a cheddar crab soup and filet mignon with a glass of Cabernet alongside, topped off with a mocha ice cream chocolate crust pie! 😀

I should have had that instead! But it was kind of late and I needed something quick.

Wow - I went in today to preview the slides for monday and there were about 200.

I just now had a sudden craving for a Spicy TenderCrisp Chicken Sandwich at Burger King. I love those things. I think that is a big part of why I have gotten so fat. Anyway, I digress. So I get dressed since I was already in my pajamas and drive out there, only to be told that they are out of TenderCrisp Chicken Sandwiches. So then I was very frustrated, and went to Taco Bell, which was totally disgusting. 👎

So, I am going to tell you some interesting things about my day.

My second patient came in to fill a Vicodin Rx after discovering that half a bottle of Jack Daniels did not provide sufficient pain relief after having his wisdom teeth taken out.

One of my co workers snuck in her 8 week old shi tzu in her purse. We let it wander around the pharmacy and played with it. The security people never called and yelled at us.

A lady who was picking up a refill on her son's nystatin/triamcincolone cream told me that she had heard that steroid use could stunt growth. She then proceeded to ask if applying it to his penis would prevent it from ever getting any bigger.

I'm totally out of touch with the music these days. Having been a fan of the 80's hair bands and the various metal bands, this alternative music revolution in the 90's really didn't agree with me much. You gotta be ****tin' me, did I just listen to a song that has NO guitar solo??? And I have no idea WTF is going on in 00's.

I've been a classical music junkie for the last few months though so now I'm really out of touch 🙁

Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam were in MLB. Heart is from Seattle too. But, I don't really care for their music. The scene here went through an overt "anti-riff" phase about 1990. You probably won't like anything out of here in that era.

Punk is still mainstream in the South Sound and always has been. You can go to the storage rental places on weekends and listen to bands practice. In Olympia, Denny's of all places has bands playing every night. Oly is strange. I had my White Stripes CD in my car when I went through the Jiffy Lube and the 50 year old lady working there started gushing about how much she loved that band. Alot of parents here ask their kids what music is good to listen to. Oh yeah, and there are alot of poh people. Only poh people wanna be rock stars. I'm totally not kidding. Many of them are too broke to buy beer on the weekends. I'm only peripherially related to the scene.

Numbers was the 18th, and I guess a typical TV season is 22 episodes (I don't know that for sure for Lost), so there would be about four left. I do know that there will not be a new one until April 13th!!! 👎
