I will tell you though that I was at a party this weekend when one of my (drunk) friends leaned over and told me that she and her boyfriend "had sex on the couch right here (points down). But, it's not gross like that because we are sitting here. I mean, it was clean. Like, covered with a blanket." I still don't know if she was trying to say they were protected from the couch or the couch was protected from them.

I dunno. I never did it. I suppose the call room would be ok. But not places like my dad told me he has seen - nurses have told him about walking into unused ORs and seeing people going at it. 😱

Her father stole it. So why is she entitled to profit off it? Does stolen property become yours after a few years? Decades? Interesting.

Yes, because after about 30 years you can just say it's yours. It goes the same with the looted artwork from WWII which was probably previously looted. To which looter does the artwork belong?

Yeah. I'm making up for it though. It's 2015h and have not left. Me and hemepath haven't quite decided if we like one another. I haven't done any thing remotely heme-onc-ic in more than 2 years and the WHO hemepath classification bigwig is my attending this week 😳

I am almost missing surg path where I don't have to ask every single cell I see, "What ARE you???"

one of my attendings called me a white cloud today. i have one placenta slide to sign out tomorrow! hot damn! i guess the mens in boston decided not to get their wimmens pregnant 9 months ago. so be it, it happens that i have no grossing-intense weeks for the next 3 weeks. but, i know busier days will be coming soon when i load up on gyn-bigs and surg path. i do find pathology to be far better than anything else i've done. working in a laboratory setting is teh pwn!

i get to do a heme week in 2 weeks. i don't know jack **** about heme. wait, i said that about vag path too...so the question becomes, "what DO i know jack **** about?" that was a rhetorical question.

You guys have an interesting rotation system.

You do know some **** about heme. However, you will find to your dismay that it is not enough and worse, rustier than a sideroblast.

Looting is bull****. It you steal it, you should not get to keep it. Then again, if this were the case, it would undermine the land ditribuition throughout the world.

That means that whenever you are on service, the work load is low...kinda like how you bring good luck by making your life and the lives around you easier. i haven't had many cases last week. signouts were really short. i only stayed in the hospital longer than i had to because i wanted to read **** and take my time doing the best i could previewing.

I have always been a steady-eddie when it comes to being busy on service. Never too dull, never overly busy. Always seems to be the right amount of work. Dunno why. Every now and then I get a crazy day but when I do, there isn't other stuff to do the same day.

BTW, there is plenty of material for you to practice your technique...we got called in this afternoon for a big ass fibroid r/o sarcoma today...the specimen is sitting in the fridge. I'd just like to say that we sold our house yesterday - whew. Now, I won't have to sell my children to continue residency. Although... No, the boy will be far more useful to me, once I train him as my grossing monkey.
