I am so tired I think if I tried driving, I might pass out, There are people at my house though, They came over and prohibited me from napping this afternoon. I have to run a stupid flu clinic tomorrow. It makes me feel like I am running around playing hostess all day.

What's your favorite kind of oreo? Right now I am eating the ones with peanut butter in the middle. I LOVE chocolate/PB combos but am not absolutely completely loving these oreos. I prefer the double stuff.

I haven't yet tried the mint oreos or the backwards oreos.

Hope you're not driving anywhere!

Can you head to bed soon?

Hey Beary
Congrats on chicago 🙂

You like double stuf! We should eat Oreos together.

I tried the mint Oreos once. I wasn't very inspired, but that's probably because I prefer the cookie to the filling.

I love the original ones...mint ones are good too

I thought that with the inherent geekiness in the air, some of you might appreciate this - if you haven't found it already:

Widgets

Some of these people are even geekier than I am, which I did not think was possible!

A countdown in seconds to the start of the third season of the OC?

I am actually fading.
But I achieved stable 64-bit encrypted cable wireless Internet (keyword being "stable") this afternoon and it's like a new toy.

8.8MB down in less than 10 seconds 😱

Absolutely!!! I'll even bring the oreos!!

You have been warned..i m the original oreo cookie monster... 😀 😀

Did you notice the one for Lost?   That is what made me think of posting the link here!

There was a widget that sync'd Calgary bus schedules and showed when the next bus was going by a given intersection. I wish I had known about that!

You two will have to coordinate your dates - I am available most evenings.

The PD is away until Monday. Interview days are mostly Fridays (that's when we have residents' didactic conference).

beary is online at 10:30am? Can you tell me what Axis IV is? 😉

Yes I can! My own personal Axis IV is severe stress caused by ERAS and USMLE. 😉 I just paid for Step 2 CK and Step 2 CS this morning - hey, I didn't need that $1430 for anything else! 😡

I actually am very amused reading all the Axis V. It seems like everybody gets GAF = 70 no matter what type of shape they are in.

Just think, that 1430 bought you a delicious lunch of sandwiches provided by the nbme. your selection of chips and soda will be limited as they will be picked over by the proctors. If you are really lucky, you could even be manhandled by a proctor, all for the low low price of 1000.

In other news, i have taken up yoga. I am in great pain.

No, she's definitely not my favorite character - she freaks me out too! I just wanted to use some kind of Alias avatar since the season starts this week!

Today was the first day it felt like fall - cool and crisp! 👍

Not here. It was in the 80s I think and kind of humid.

I am on call tonight. Just got home, was at l'hopital until 9:30 or so waiting for two lymphoma workups, although only one of them turned out to be a lymphoma workup. And I spent about a half hour dealing with a skin biopsy that no one could figure out what they sent it for (microbiology, regular histopath, immunofluorescence)

You have to forgive them - frightful job. If I ever had to play proctor, I think my intellect (if med school left me with any) would fall into the sub-zeros by the end of a week...

Speaking of "man"-handling - did any of you spot any male proctors at your test centres?

Before, or after yoga? 😕 😛

We had a few in houston, but they were old, like 50-60

Before, or after yoga?

After. I felt fine doing it, then the next day I had pain everywhere. That was Sunday, I can sort of walk again today after a soak in the jacuzzi 🙁

There was a youngish female proctor at my step 3 site. I think perhaps I could have gotten in good with her, as I was the only one there not taking the TOEFL and they seem to be annoyed by people taking the TOEFL.

The bouncing animals are back! Hooray! 😍

There's also that grey Scottish terrier (? pun intended) with the red nose whose legs go so fast you can barely see them... 😕

What sort of yoga do they have you doing, Pingu?

One resident here has about 5,000 slides on his desk. I guess for some research project or something. I'm serious there's like 5,000 slides.

I bet I have around that many slides of mouse lung and trachea sections from my Ph.D. research.

I ordered the mtv yoga and power yoga dvds from amazon because they sounded the most beginner in the reviews. I also got a sticky mat, which makes all the difference for posing.

My favorite bouncing animal is the penguin though, obviously 😀

Bouncing? I thought they were pooping.

I must've been hanging around Andy much too long.

I've finished lunch, and I'm starving. I hate this. How is it even possible!
