I wasn't at the Marvel panel at comic-con, unfortunately, but I did stand in line for 45 minutes to try to get a ticket for a signing with him. It was a lottery (pull a card out of the box kind of deal) and I didn't get one 🙁 Oh well, at least I tried!
What does everyone carry to class? I really want a nice real leather bag to carry but I need it to fit a laptop incase I do need to carry it with me but I don't want it to cost a small fortune either. I already have a substantial backpack. Any recommendations?
I just have a backpack. I don't usually have a lot of books so it fits my notes, iPad and pencil pouch easily. I store extra stuff in my locker.
Will your backpack not fit the laptop?

I have a fake leather tote that I got from Staples off the clearance rack- it was about $30. fits laptop and whatever other supplies I need easily. a friend wanted a similar once so I found some on amazon for decent prices as well.
I'm a backpack devotee. I have too much stuff for any other sort of bag to work.
I'm too much of a clutz and I need both my arms free and very mobile!! That's why I like backpacks 😛

This! Whenever I went someone on campus at UG without my backpack I felt like I was forgetting everything
Definitely going to keep using my backpack for vet school. Hopefully no one judges the fact that its pink plaid 😉

Pretty much everyone in my class uses a backpack. They are usually way more full than in undergrad, as there are just so many notes or computers or snacks or whatever else you need. I definitely love my backpack.

At the pig farm today and one of the large sows stomps down on my foot (she probably weighed around 200 to 250 kg) and the farmer asks: "Do the wellies have steel toe caps?" I tell him that I don't think they do (the farm provides various wellies for students) so to "test" if the wellies had steel toe caps he presses down on my foot again, right after the pig stomped on it... lol. The conclusion: No there are no steel toe caps in the wellies. Luckily, I think my toes are going to survive.

They've said for sure he won't be playing at all in the pre-season but no 100% decision on PUP or not (I've heard "he won't" but not from Shanny). Either way, they're going to limit him in camp, even though he's been cleared.

Not sure how I feel about Tebow, although he reportedly lined up with the backs and receivers this morning. I'll be excited to see how he goes Sunday. My fantasy team is gonna be dicey this year, though.
