I was a bad rabbit mom. I was sweeping up the rabbits' pen and got the hose a little too close to a tail. To be fair, I warned Mittens to move her ass so I could get the corner. She's the smarter rabbit, so we'll see if she makes that mistake again.

Feast your eyes upon the glory that is me.

I just paid $8.50 for a wash (NOT including the dry) at a laundromat.

At least the machine is YUGE and I could fit all the clothes I needed to wash. Including my jacket.
Is that how much it costs to wash clothes now? Wth ... you might as well save that money and wash your clothes in the nearest river or in a rainstorm ... or your bathtub!

Damn I remember when my washing machine wasn't working in Scotland if walk down the street to the laundromat. She'd wash, dry and fold my clothes for £5

Lol I thought about it! It cost me about $11 to wash and dry them. Though to be fair it was a solid 2 weeks of clothes so it was a fairly large load of laundry.

Jeebus. I washed about a month's worth of laundry last week and it was still less than that...

I'd consider it.

Slowest day in a while. I think the most complicated case I had was possible choking dog that I had to send off on referral because we were closing soon so couldn't anesthetize to get a good look.

Second most complicated was a fractured metacarpal bone....not even displaced.

The rest was vaccines and routine. Oh and I made a dog poop with an enema.

I actually spent a good part of the day cleaning the Dr office

Glad to hear that. You have Mondays off, dontcha?

I'm not sure I'd be great to manage any broken bones, but metacarpals aren't quite the same as long bone fractures.

$500 is like, 1/3 my paycheck so making that in one day would be nice. Although some of the cases and people you deal with make me doubt my decision...

I *should* be getting my lab results to figure out why...
...I'm on Day 15 of a crazy heavy period- my periods are always 4 days, 5 max. I've had 2 weeks of hell (and gone through an entire 58 pack of pads). 😡
Hopefully all good news, but of course, there's always that crippling anxiety that something else is wrong with me.

Yup, Mondays off. I love having Mondays off. I just splinted the fracture. Non displaced, simple fracture should heal with a splint.

Yeah some of the people are crazy. Which cases make you doubt your decision? I haven't had a pleural effusion case for over a week now... :xf:

I don't see a lot of emergency medicine in general so... anything with trouble breathing. That probably scares me the most.

I just always warn the clients of these cases that their pet can pass at any time while we are doing diagnostics and developing an appropriate treatment plan. The pleural effusion cases that I've seen have been remarkably stable.

I find it endearing when they can't keep their tongues in their mouths.
One of my poms growing up, he had the most beautiful markings, and his tongue stuck out all the time!

Yikes! I really hope things work out for you.
I'm in the middle of adjusting to an IUD, have been getting a period every other week. The annoyance and worry is real!

Aww Pretty puppy!

Ugh. That's the worst. I'm sorry Gwen!

Doc called- Everything looks normal! Thyroid and blood glucose levels are within normal limits, platelets and WBC are a little high, but nothing too alarming. So, they have no idea what caused me to be dying, but they know what it's not.

Hahaha.. Okay guys.. @Abnerrs I'm actually pretty impressed by how much that looks like the emoji. Still a weird emoji though imo... I guess I think both eyes should be open in a joking sticking out tongue emoji because that is what I do in real life, not this face so probably why I think it's weird.

To be honest, have no idea why those pictures were posted, just figured that one matched
I find it funny that we all have the same eye open, only difference is the cat doesn't have it's left nostril pierced with a small stud.

Not a fan of the new Westminster format. And the Schipperke should've had the non-sporting group. (Not annoyed enough to consider it a rant; I mean, how much can I rant while watching dogs).

Every once in a great while, I'll think, dang I wish I was back in school, only worrying about classes. Mostly because on some Tuesdays, I'd ditch class for discount movie day and sit in an empty theater watching a movie completely by myself. I can't exactly do that anymore, not without getting a stern phone call about wtf am I and why am I not at work.

But then I remember all the stupid tests and classroom drama and the studying and well... I'm definitely glad to be done

I'm pretty sure I posted something pretty similar not to long ago. So I feel ya.

Got to meet Swagger from a few years back. Such amazing dogs. Hope the coverage is better next year, though.
I guess, I know Blue, the Swiss that they have in all the ads. I thought he was gonna be in the ring. I don't know that female. (Blue is prettier, but I like boys.)

I have my new dishes in the washer. I decided last year to start phasing out the old plastic dishes I've had since junior year of undergrad. They were looking pretty awful after 7-8 years. I initially bought one 16 piece set of Corelle dishes. I liked them a lot so I ordered another set off of Amazon. Now I have enough matching dishes to host 8 persons in my home (or enough dishes to ignore doing the dishes for a solid week).
