Green had the first one that I just seriously could not see at all. I'm not convinced there are even letters written.

House organization question:

What do y'all do with your old scrubs from past jobs/volunteer orgs? I'm amassing a collection that's beginning to look like my {insert start up company} t-shirt drawer, and I can't wear any of these for clinics because they have another organization's logo on them.

I used some of them for my trashy anatomy scrubs in first year, but after chucking those with my gross lab coat, I still have a bunch taking up space in my closet.

Can't imagine they have resale value, but feel bad throwing things away...
Is donating to Goodwill an option? Or directly to homeless (or if that's too risky, to a shelter)? I'd imagine it's still frigid in most parts of the country.

I've never been in a position to buy/own scrubs (just used whatever the hospital had then tossed in their laundry), but scrubs seem perfect for house cleaning or any dirty job like car maintenance.

They can be used as dedicated rags too (and never again washed because of fire hazard of oil + dryer) and I have a ton of gallon-sized ziploc bags and could dedicate one set of rags for each type of oil so there's no contamination.

I feel you though. I can't toss old clothes, since they still have some value or use case.

What about an ophthalmologist? :heckyeah:

Who wants to test their cones tonight???

Oof, got 10/10, but on a couple I looked at the answers and worked backwards and used some deduction. I know it's Buzzfeed (helloooo clickbait and ad revenue!), but I also think people need to realize that the quality of their display makes a huge difference in contrast and color reproduction. I'm using a TN LCD panel with CCFL backlighting built in 2005 or 2006, so the color reproduction is pretty bad.

I bet if I used my smartphone or a better display, the color palette is way better!

I got distracted by colors and forgot that I meant to respond to this
Is there a way you could remove the logos, or patch over them? Otherwise I second the donation suggestion.

3 out of 10 for red...that does confirm the fact that I am old, right? going to go find the green and blue during lunch break.

so, 3/10 for red. 3/10 for blue. 4/10 for green.

Does this mean I am old? Or blind? Or both? Is this why I have to have strong light now to figure out if my pants are navy blue or black?

10/10 for red. 8/10 for green. Don't have time to track down blue right now. (someone want to make life easier and post a link?)

9/10 for red and blue. 10/10 for green. I also took them all on my cellphone that has my keyboard and other icons burned into the screen....which made it extra fun trying to see the words through a burned in Facebook, SDN and other symbols and a keyboard.

I only kept one hospital pair from residency for nostalgia. And the routine clinic ones I wore from residency (which still say property of...) are a beautiful royal blue (so the black stamping isnt noticeable really) and have a green stripe on the back of the neck area and green ties on the bottoms.... i have 2 pairs of those, and I wear them every other friday on payday so whenever people see me and the bright green on my scrubs that day they instantly smile and have their spirits lifted cause they know they getting that $$$ haha

Naw thats cataracts 🤣
I know I have cataracts, but supposedly they are too tiny to do anything with. They said they won't do anything until my vision is 20/50. I am worried that I will be out of a job and no income or insurance by that point because I won't be able to see!

the last time I checked, no, we aren't. I have not had the opportunity to hug horsies. and our avatar pics are totally different. I think Strog has cataracts and can't see!
Just had to check. I can be oblivious to many things....

Purple or we riot

If I fail this one, I'm updating my vision graphics.

Edit: I'll take 7/10. And 10/10 for white 😱

I found out yesterday that my school takes money from a racist and homophobic cult leader, because they advertise her as a benefactor on the walls. I think it's one thing to take money from someone like that, but to actually put her face on the wall so everyone knows you're associated...?
