That guy stood me up and then was a total ******* so no
bahaha too bad he isn't around to "pick you up". 😉 Are you walking to a gas station?
Walking back now
That guy stood me up and then was a total ******* so no
Sorry guys in super cranky now and feeling sorry for myself.
I was getting gas because I have to drive 45 min each way to my boss's house to get her animals later because she has to go identify her sisters body in Cali. Which is sad but not unexpected. She was a really heavy drug user
It's kinda funny. I'm just being a babyI can just see Abney walking down the road with a gas can, posting on SDN

I'm sorry, I'm not laughing *at* you, just *with* you... hopefully 😳
I am having to cook dinner in this damn hot as hell house... It is 85 degrees in here... and it is after 7PM... 😡😡
Sweating to death here...
Yikes! 😱
I'm sorry that happened to you. I was only laughing bc I'm the person that crap like that always happens to and all I can do is laugh anymore to stay sane. My bad if it pissed you off. 😳
I luuuurve you 😀
Good luck with your boss's animals... are they at least good snugglers?! 😍
No I'm not mad. her dog is. He's a 23lb pom. Not fat just HUGE. But her bird isn't so great at that. He has to be tube fed twice a day![]()
eh... what kind of bird?
african grey his previous owner left outside to get attacked by a raccoon.
Is it my bird?!?!!? 😱
Our A.G. got attacked by a raccoon! It was awful. We have a screened in back porch and due to a hurricane a week earlier, one of the top pieces of screen was off. We heard the most AWFUL screeching at 4am and ran outside to see 3 raccoons. One of them had a hold of her leg and was pulling it to try and get her through the tiny bars of her cage. He basically pulled and pulled until her leg ripped off. We shoo-ed them off and took her in ASAP. It was very sad. She just kept saying "macaroni... and cheeeeese". They stopped the bleeding and amputated later that morning. We repaired the screens immediately and my dad set raccoon traps every night for like 3 years 🙄. That bird is his baby! So she is our one-legged parrot now 😀. She does just fine. Sorry that one wasn't so lucky! 🙁
My dog is fly catching. Again. She's been doing it for a week now (I mean she's been having episodes, not that she's spent the whole week doing this), which I guess means it's time to bring her and a video of this charming behavior in to work tomorrow.this is nothing too scary/expensive. (I'm so happy to be paying thousands to apply to vet school. I'm so happy to be paying thousands to apply to vet school. I'm so happy to be paying thousands to apply to vet school. If I repeat it enough it'll come true, right? and a money tree will appear at my house?) Poor crazy dog... 😳
i know how you feel! my dog got sick with a neuro thing a little before i had to start applying too! luckily i had access to a neurologist without having to pay the $$ right away and i'm still paying off my bill right now 😳
what breed is she?
Sulfur deficiency. Oh wait that's star gazing. I have so much animal nutrition in my brain right now I can't think about anything but.
They do know when to have problems, don't they? If she needs a CT/MRI, she needs a CT/MRI. I'll just desperately need her pet insurance company to reimburse as quickly as they say they will. I'm still paying for my dog who passed away in February. 😳
She's a bulldog. (I know, I know. Owning a bulldog is asking for problems... but I would've expected respiratory/dermatological/GI way before neuro...) 11 months, intact female (went into heat the day after I drew the blood for her spay... her timing really is impeccable!). No history of problems.
Dr. Google, for whatever he's worth, suggests fly catching is either seizure activity or an obsessive compulsive issue.
i'm still paying for my dog who passed away last may (2011)!!!! thank goodness i work at the clinic where i got all his care.
i owned a cavalier king charles so i know allllllllllll about the breed predisposed problems blah blah blah 🙂 gotta love the dogs we choose right? mine ended up having to have a MRI/CSF tap.
wishing luck for you guys thoughneuro stuff can be scary/nerve wracking sometimes. do you have a neurologist you can see?
1st, one of my ALL TIME favorite breeds. How the heck did you pay for it in the first place?!?!
2nd, you all have heard me talk about my dachshund. Predisposed my ass. $4,200 gonzo. But ya know. I don't regret it. That's my baby.

we got him from a breeder (i know, i know, shame on me 😳 )
back then our family was able to afford an expensive dog from a breeder. and we wanted to make sure to get a puppy that we liked, from a reputable breeder, etc. however, now we really want to get our next dog from a rescue 🙂
i think our total bill on our CKCS came out to around $4000.........it was about $2000 for the initial MRI/CSF tap (this is WITH my 10% discount) and then after that, we had to pay for regular check ups/blood work to monitor his WBCs and liver enzymes while he was on pred and CCNU. he was our baby though, i would have given my heart and more for him. miss him still every day. cavaliers are the best breed though really. it's like having a golden retriever in a 20 lb or less size dog. we really want to rescue a CKCS this time around.
I got my bulldog from a breeder, too. 😳 I just know how problematic they can be, and so I wanted the healthiest bulldog I could find. My breeder has AKC champions and breeds some of the most robust bulldogs I've ever seen... so here I am talking about a neuro referral. 🙄
My last dog was a rescue Frenchie with IBD, giardia and campy, who passed away at 5 with a pyloric outflow obstruction and lymphoma. I loved him more than anything, but I really wanted a relatively easy, healthy dog. ...so here I've been talking about getting another rescue Frenchie, who will probably be special needs. 🙄
I WISH my doctor had been able to talk care of my dog. I had to take her to an orthopedist. They DID NOT accept payments. My savings has never recovered. It was $3,800 right off the bat and a little over $400 for subsequent care.
OMG I LOVE FRENCHIES AND THEIR LITTLE NOSES AND CURLY Q TAILS!!!!!! 😍😍😍
we just had a frenchie come in the ER for suspected pneumonia. she was the lightest cream color and her name was simone and she was a tiny 15 pounds!!!!! soooooooooooo cute. and pug puppies get me every time.

We had two Frenchies stay in the kennel at work last week. One of them looked EXACTLY like the dog I lost in February. He looked at me through the bars of the cage and I burst into tears. Every last one of my coworkers did double takes when they first saw him. He is ADORABLE. I had him out of the cage several times every day for extra love. 😍
I like the brachycephalic dogs, too. I'll count boxers in that, too, since they seem to loooove Frenchies. 😍
Gosh I totally understand. Not a dog but any time I see a cat that reminds me of my old lady I lost I lose it.

I think of the dinosaur cavalier you have as your icon every time I see a cavalier. And every single one is an absolute sweetheart. Every single one I have met has been an absolute darling (and much calmer than most goldens!). I asked one of our vets once, who's been in practice for a decade, and she has never met a mean cavalier. They also seem to come rather frequently in pairs.
Oh my gosh and your comment about pug puppies. I am so excited for the new pug puppy appointment tomorrow. It's like the tiniest little smushed face. Precious.
you guys really like some messed up dysfunctional dog breeds.
