Ehh... used to it, just annoying. Thanks
okay so i think that Google Drive is now the coolest thing since sliced bread (even better than google docs) but something fishy happened between yesterday and today and now i am not so pleased
somehow 10 pages (paper) of virology added into my study guide yesterday magically disappeared. what the heck?! where did it go!! and there are no autosaved earlier versions to retrievemidterms are nearly here, that was an hours+ worth of work. i want it back! 😡
I am pretty sure that I had an ovarian cyst rupture during that last lecture. Got the intense pain, nausea and chills all at once, thankfully class are over, on my way home.
Doesn't that sound lovely... Hope you feel better.
Good.
Now I hope they can figure something out...
They just called in hospice for my Grandma. My poor mom is losing both her parents in one week. I hate being stuck here with no way to greave or see any of my family.
I feel numb.![]()

*hugs* My grandfather passed away last month, while I am here 2000 miles away from my entire family. If you need to talk, or vent, or whatever, feel free to PM me.
Thanks. Sorry to hear about your grandfather. My grandpa just passed away on Tuesday so losing them both in a week seems unbearable. At least they'll be together again soon 🙁
I'm having a lot of trouble concentrating on studying for my final Thursday. Not sure what to do.![]()

My mom is on her way to Ohio. My grandma is asking for her. She's waiting to say goodbye to let go.
Your going through a bloody tough time at the moment and vet schools don't expect you to be a robot. If you go talk to someone now they can help you out and get things rearranged, and its a lot easier to do that now than wait til you have failed something. Most of the time admin are actually wonderful at helping students out.
I agree. It may help to defer an exam or two, even if it's just to allow you to get to a better place in your head. Sorry you're going through so much so fast, Emiloo 🙁
Oh, Emm, I am so very very very very sorry. 🙁
My thoughts are with you all. And I'm more than sure that they would understand if you needed to defer an exam or two. They're human beings too and no doubt understand the amount of stress you're currently under due to these unfortunate circumstances. I'm sure that they could work out a 'doable' schedule for you. Again, these are unforeseen, very unfortunate circumstances. If you need to be with your family, they'll understand.
**hugs**
PS - For a possible smile... I told my mom your Ryan Lochte story (the poor woman developed singles on her face about a month ago and needs all the distraction she can get) and she laughed her butt off at your 'swallowing 1/2 the pool' comment. She replied with 'the fact that the girl actually got into the pool and was able to keep enough focus not to drown should be commended!' 🙂
Hokey or not, religious or not, that sort of story gives me the fuzzies. I dare anyone else to say otherwise. Kids are perceptive in strange ways.
True dat! And animals too...
Emm, you're more than welcome. So glad I was able to give you a smile. Also, I'll hope that you mom gets there and is able to find peace before it's too late. But, shingles for six years?!? 😱 Say it ain't so. My mom probably doesn't have six years left and the thought of her having this for longer than a few months is just an ugly thing...

From my understanding it never really goes away. It stays in your body and flares up when your immune system is low. The drugs they have for it now are pretty effective in reducing symptoms I believe.
I'm going to fail immunology....
