An ex-boyfriend pointed mine out to me mid-activity-that-had-me-with-my-shirt-off. I mentioned it to my doctor, who confirmed it, and told me it wasn't cause for concern so long as I felt okay. I hope yours isn't a big deal!
I will have to check Paraguard out! I can't take anything with Estrogen in it. I have too many migraines and hormonal issues as it is. Haven't been able to find anything that works without causing problems.
Yeah, estrogen makes me vomit! Even the super low dose ones. I was on the progesterone only pill for a while but it's only like 85% effective, it made my skin majorly break out, and my moods were awful!
Typically they won't implant an IUD if you're under 25 and/or haven't already had 2 kids but if hormones really don't agree with you that works in your favor. I was also adamant about not having kids ... Possibly not ever but definitely not in the foreseeable future.
I get abdominal migraines so I'm on 12.5 mg of an tricyclic antidepressant which really keeps my symptoms at bay ... Also eating right, exercise, and stress management (the common "management regimen" for migraines) 😀
This is more of a WTF than a rant.
Friend of mine posts a status on FB: Her BF has the flu, so they gave him AND her antibiotics - to cure his flu and prevent her from catching it.
Ummm.....
Either her doctor is an idiot or I slept through way more bacteriology and virology than I thought.
Or she doesn't know what an antibiotic is? Got tamiflu? I dunno, just trying to make it better.
The drug in question is "azittromicin"
Translation: azithromycin?

Maybe its for a cold and not the flu itself? idk...
I adore my implanon. Stuck in my arm once, don't have to do anything with it for three years, and no aunt flo? Yes please. 😍
Feeling even more crummy.... 🙁
I just want to enjoy my break without feeling miserable... 🙁
What's an 'abdominal migraine'? I get the full gamut with migraines. The aura, nauseous, dizzy, eyeballs hurt, the whole shebang anywhere from 12 hours to 4 days.
I'm over 25 and don't plan on having kids any time soon, so I don't think that would a problem. I'll have to do some research now. I'd really rather be on something and not chance it.![]()
would a cold really make it better?
I want to know what this scary thing that happened was. And when your appt is again. Is it when you get back?
I just looked in like, 10 different stores in town... for a bag of bows in either blue, silver, or white. Just standard gift bows. No. I either had to buy them one by one for like $2 apiece (um, no) or get a bag with red, green, and gold as well. And mostly red. Seriously? Walmart didn't even have a bag o' bows. And I expected more from Hobby Lobby or Hallmark...
What??? Did you wake up in the street? Jeez, lady.
Dollar Store!
No. I either blacked out or something else happened, but it has not occurred since so time to move on and forget about it.
Okay, as long as the something else wouldn't involve rohypnol. Really hope you get this sorted soon!
For years I would get these atrocious episodes ... I would get hit with intense vertigo (like not being able to walk without my hands on the wall) followed by the worst pain in my abdomen (not localized, like everything in there felt it was under attack). I would get crazy nauseous and vomit everything and my entire body would shake uncontrollably from the pain. The episode itself would last 4-6 hours then the next 3ish days my insides felt shredded so I could hardly eat. I saw several gastroenterologists and had every GI test run in the book ... All normal. I was about to give up then decided I would get a primary care doc in integrative medicine to see about supplements to manage symptoms. On a whim he referred me to an awesome vascular neurologist due to the vertigo. She ran a few tests and diagnosed my episodes as abdominal migraines. Apparently it's more common in children and they usually outgrow them.
Now I have them really well managed (knock on wood). I get mild episodes here and there but they're not bad enough to interfere with my day-to-day life. The last full blown episode I had was about a year and a half ago 😀
I got purple all over my arm. Like, gonna have to wear long sleeves tomorrow kinda all over.
After interviews are done I'm redying my hair pink. I'll need you to remind me of that permadye stuff lol

Planned parenthood will give you an IUD with no trouble. I got one when I was 20 or so (and def never had any kids).
...
Erm... *frowns*
... nevermind.

Not sure you have thought about this one hard enough😛I'll just go full nyan and say it - I didn't think you liked teh peen, so I wondered the need for an IUD.
Forgive me if I am incorrect...
The IUD is for people over 25 with 2 kids thing has changed in the last couple of years. My doctor told me that the research showed no significant adverse effects in younger/childless women so it was ok to prescribe it.
My personal trainer pointed out that I have scoliosis tonight. I never knew I had it. My mother made a mean "you have a hunch back like your grandmother" a few years ago so I have been really self-conscious about how I stand. I wonder if she knew. I am just still a little in shock that someone pointed it out to me mid-push-up. I really hope it is nothing serious. I do not think it is anything serious, but I have had problems with my nerves the last couple of years. A lower back x-ray showed nothing of course because its the top of my spine. Hmm.

Hahaha no worries. I was with a guy at the time... took me a while to realize about the gay thing. Long story.
There actually is an IUD (not the one I had) that has a super low dose of hormones in it and usually ends up totally suppressing your period - so I suppose you could use it for any of the non-birth-control reasons that people take birth control! 🙂

Ah. Gotcher.
So you tried to like teh peen for a while. Kinda like broccoli.
I think it's called Mirena.

I'm never going to think of the word "penis" again because of you. Thanks.
