TAMU did! I didn't bother asking KSU since they included in their interview invite e-mail to only reschedule in times of emergency. I was thinking instate too, but the average interviewed applicant GPA last year at TAMU was a 3.67, mine was a 3.52 when I applied (3.56 now but not sure if it matters). That's why I was so surprised that I was offered, since the average offered applicant GPA was a 3.77 and a 3.66 sci GPA, my sci GPA is sitting at a 3.36 now. The interview is only 17% of the application, so I'm afraid that even if I ace it, I'll still be beat out by another applicant with better grades. I'd be so upset if I chose to interview with TAMU and got rejected, I know I'll be thinking of KSU the entire time. 576 applied, 207 IS were interviewed, and 126 IS were offered.
KSU doesn't post a whole ton of their stats or selection process, but average sci GPA for accepted applicants was a 3.4. 1047 OOS applied, 331 OOS were interviewed, and 206 OOS were offered. My GRE is average for quantitative, but above average for both TAMU and KSU in verbal and analytical writing (I got a 5.5 so that may have helped a little?)
I could have definitely made it yesterday! ): But I was scheduled on the 7th instead and I accepted as soon as I found out in November because I did not think I would have any scheduling issues! I found out about TAMU this very morning. TAMU only has one weekend from the 6th to the 7th and I know KSU's weekend was the 7th to the 8th - just my luck that both had to fall on the 7th. I would be fine with moving it to the 8th if possible, but I doubt that KSU would be willing to do that for me...Should I call Mary Sue and explain my situation? I don't think even she would be receptive to rescheduling for the sake of another school interview...
