They don't have names yet since I can't tell them apart. One is very shy, so that might be one way...

One squeaks quite a bit. I don't think it's a URI because her breath is not wheezy... well, I hope it isn't anyway. Hopefully the interwebs will point me in the right direction for that information.

Oh yes. I had a interview at Chapters and I've been guaranteed part-time work as long as my references check out. I should be hearing from them soon. I have an interview at a chemistry lab tomorrow. They are looking for sample preps in organic and inorganic chemistry. I applied because I was hoping some of my skills from working in a molecular lab and taking chemistry courses would be handy. I actually get really high marks in the lab sections. Theory blows, hence why I cannot get into vet school.

Olivia and Josie were lab rescues that I fostered for a little bit 🙂 they were super terrified as they acclimated to being pets. they sure did love pet life though once they got used to it!

Aww ... that's sweet! Mine is a rescue from a family that couldn't keep her because their kids had "allergies". She was super friendly when I got her but now she screams every afternoon around veggie time and will bite me if I try to hold her. The family told me she was 7 years old when I adopted her, making her 9 years old now ... which I find hard to believe. I attribute her dislike of being held to her age but then she looks great when she runs around 😕

When I did a lab animal handling class, we dotted the dorsal part of the tails with a sharpie to be able to tell all the albinos apart - one dot for the first, two second, etc. Maybe try that?

When I get a chance to use my laptop, I'll look at Rosie's picture. M phone won't let me view them!

I heard about the sharpie trick. I'll have to do that.

They aren't quite albino. Their noses are a little darker. Their owner expects their nose and ears to turn brown like their mother's. We shall see.

They are a lot more care than gerbils. They pee a lot, especially in their sleeping log. I love the look of fleece liners in their cage. May have to switch over to bedding on the bottom?

They are litter trained thankfully. They just don't pee in it, which I kind of expected.

I'm not a huge pumpkin fan. I like pumpkin pie, but that is about it. And touching the inside of a real pumpkin makes my hands and arms itchy and red, so I don't tend to carve pumpkins during Halloween time.

butternut squash = amazing when roasted.

I think I like the mix of spices more than anything else. Bet thats why I don't like pumpkin pie but like the pumpkin spice lattes and cookies
