We didn't actually do agility- we do Rally Obedience and Obedience. He got his Companion Dog title (CD) Saturday with the Novice A class in Obedience and his Rally Advanced title on Sunday! Very proud of him! We do want to get into agility, though, at some point! He just doesn't seem to enjoy it as much.
 
Day 1 of Equine Med is in the books. I am so not a horse person so I was really nervous to be around the horses but today was a lot of fun and went by super fast. I got to set a jugular IV catheter and suture it in. I had never done one so to do it right on the first try was such a great feeling.
 
My advisor sent me a letter congratulating me on getting in to vet school and a tshirt to show my undergrad pride at my new school. He' such a nice guy.
 
Ok, E3, I can't handle all this AWESOMENESS!!! PS4, Wii U, I now need both of you. KHIII, Pokemon X and Y, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Windwaker HD, Battlefront III, Mario Kart 8, SSB, Dragon Age III: Inquisition.

AND The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smog Trailer!?!

Can't wait to see what the rest of the week brings, wow..

They're on Mario Kart 8 now??? Holy crap I'm behind on video games.

I know, it is great, isn't it!? Usually Mario Kart on a handheld is terrible but it works so well with the 3DS. I just picked up Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Sunday and I'm loving it so much! I've been a huge fan of the franchise since it came out for the gamecube!

New leaf is the entire reason I finally decided buying a 3ds was worth it (as well as breaking my regular DS haha)! I've been playing it non-stop since Sunday since I don't have any work or anything until Thursday. So far it's definitely looking like it's going to be the best animal crossing yet

Yep, I'm torn. Especially since I found that Nintendo has started selling refurbished 3DS systems for $130 with a 1-year warranty, pretty decent price. Or $170 with a new copy of ocarina of time 3d included. I want it, but want to save my money also. Decisions...

Gah. That could have me sold. I love Zelda...although I have not figured out anything on Four Swords for Advanced...or beaten Majora's Mask due to lack of time...although I might have a new summer project. Hahahaha.
 
Animal Crossing!! Whoo!! I haven't had a day off since it came out so I've only managed to play a little at a time. I am finally off tomorrow, so I should get a lot done then! I am really loving it a lot! I am in love with my 3DS. I've had it for a year and a half. The only thing I wish was that my mom would have been able to find the Zelda limited edition 3DS but she couldn't, boo 🙁

But yes, Zelda belongs to my heart! I love that series... so much, I have the hylian crest/triforce tattooed on my foot (among other tattoos lol). Such a fantastic series, I can't wait for Legend of Zelda: A Link between worlds and once I get a Wii U- Windwaker HD and Zelda Wii U

Fiancé and I have decided to Elope in Missouri when he comes home from deployment 😀 😀

Cant wait !! Now to just get all our ducks in a row!

There were times during our wedding planning, we thought about it too. Have fun! You can always have a small ceremony later if you want. 🙂
 
Did some retail therapy for myself and bought a nice outfit for an upcoming interview. Just what I needed.
 
Went to an Indian cooking class with my mom tonight. I was a little weirded out by that fact that it was just held in the instructor's home, but it was a lot of fun and the food was phenomenal. We bought all the spices and cookware so we can make everything at home too! 😀
 
Finished work at my animal hospital this week.... Now I have a full month of NOTHING until I move for school. The first time I have had absolutely NOTHING going on and no plans since I was probably in middle school.... What do I do with this time?! Hahah Already bored!
 
Just finished my first week of my summer job and I'm really enjoying it (even though it hurts my eyes and head to read off the computer all day). Its different than what I had done there before but I feel like it's giving me a good perspective on the other side of LAM. Plus I only work 32hrs/week so I can take a day off every week (and tomorrow is my day off 🙂) but I'm making so much money that I don't even mind that it isn't technically full time.

So glad this worked out!

Baking sourdough again 😍 😀

I put some whole wheat flour in it this time (~20%), we'll see how it turns out!

ETA: It turned out delicious. The recipe made two smallish loaves; I have eaten half of one already. No regrets.

I'm actually feeling hopeful about the future for the first time in at least a month (probably more). There's a good chance it won't last, but it's really nice that for once I can actually believe all will be well.

Just spent the afternoon at the pool for the first time in two years! 😎 Felt so good to get out of the house and do something fun before my two week vacation block is over, and my little guy had a blast in the water.
 
Just gave blood! 🙂 At work too, so it's like they just paid me to sit there and give blood. And now I get to munch on lorna doones and apple juice at my desk.

Tonight the husband and I are going to see American Ballet Theater's Romeo & Juliet for our anniversary 😍 Tomorrow, I have a friend's birthday party in the afternoon, then the plan is to get chinese takeout and open up a bottle of wine from our honeymoon (Napa) to celebrate the anniversary of our civil ceremony. Then on Tuesday (our actual "wedding" anniversary) we're having dinner at Candle79, my favorite restaurant and also the restaurant we went to with friends after our civil ceremony at city hall 😍

...about a contest I'm entering. The person with the most number of votes gets to meet my idol, Demi Lovato. I realize this is extremely random, but because I found this thread to be incredibly supportive throughout the stressful veterinary application process, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask for even more help, but on a different, more light-hearted topic! Her music has definitely relieved some of my stress, and I find her success through her many obstacles inspirational, so for anyone out there struggling, especially during the vet process, maybe give her music a chance.

OMG, yes!! Where have you been!??! It has been announced for months! I personally cannot wait as DA II was TERRIBLE. AND THERE IS MORRIGAN BACK in Inquisition !!!!!
