I watched Taken for the first time while on an international flight. :nailbiting: I knew it was about a kidnapping (obviously, it's called Taken) but I didn't realize that an airport factored in until I was watching it. Who even allows that to be an option for the in-flight movie?! Luckily I was coming back to the US, not leaving.

You were the one who said (via drawing) that people should look out for a lion, back when people were speculating that the wolves might be animal roles. And then I'm pretty sure that's what people vaguely remembered after I revealed my role as the circus lion, so they thought I was a wolf, and I didn't have time to defend myself so I got lynched and the game was over. :yeahright:

And then you accused like 5 people of being wolves on night 1. :laugh:

She was TRYING to say animal but picked a lion to draw haha
But the REAL problem was that Bear was a Lion Tamer and that freaked the **** out of the wolves. AND WHY DIDNT YOU AT THE BEGINNING BACK ME UP WHEN I WAS SAYING THAT I DIDNT THINK ALL ANIMAL ROLES WERE WOLVES

Yeah I accused 5 people- 2 wolves, and the chaos. It was a rather successful night besides for being killed.

Successful in getting you killed and Lyra lynched, otherwise it was disregarded the entire game by all the villagers lol

I mean, I had suspicions of you, hh, and tpainda for most of the game, but had nothing concrete on you guys to be able to share it with everyone. Kara also kinda sketched me out, but again, was unsure

As ready as I am to graduate, I truly love my undergrad. I'm sitting in one of the conference rooms doing some work in between classes and my advisor peeks his head in and then proceeds to sit down and we have a 45 minute conversation about a bunch of random topics. Then after he leaves, my major's program director sticks her head in and says she's brewing a fresh pot of coffee and asks if I would like a cup. I go to a large university, but the faculty in my major care so much. It's just a nice feeling and I am thankful for everything they've done for me.

Update: I DID pass out until noon. 12:04 to be exact.
 
My mid year eval went better than I was expecting. I still seem to be getting in my own way (not confident enough in myself so I'm still holding back), but not effing up enough for them to not hire me if I want a job here.

Home from my trip 🙁 But I had the most fantastic 10 days of conference and vacation/independent study time in Hawaii imaginable! I made it my goal to do as much as I possibly could in those 10 days, and that mentality really paid off (and the fact that where I was staying was convenient for nothing so I didn't go back each day until I was ready to be home for good). I walked over 80 miles in the 11 days I was gone and although my feet have 5 blisters, it was totally worth it! Did some diving, visited a bunch of beaches, went on a few hikes, saw 2 waterfalls, ate lots of good (expensive :annoyed:) food and just generally had an awesome time!!
 
After a disaster of an attempted nail trim on my cat a few weeks ago (there was blood and some screaming from both of us, it wasn't pretty), I decided I had enough.

Thankfully, my cat is extremely food motivated, so after several daily sessions of "look I touched your paw you didn't die have a treat, look I even picked up your paw and you still didn't die, have a treat," I finally can trim my cat's nail without a bloodbath! Whoohoo! 😀

Manuary is a local (MN) contest put on by a radio station - several rounds of voting for men who are vying to raise $1500 for a charity of their choice.

One of our surgeons - Andrew Jackson - is working to raise money for Frankie's Friends, an organization that supplies grants to owners of pets who need critical/emergent/advanced care.

Please take the time to vote for AJ. It's super easy and quick. He was at 50% but is taking a lead, but we want to push it all the way. 🙂
