Ugh I miss spaying and neutering. It needs to come back into my life. I'm probably awfully slow now though.
You can spay all the dogs that come my way. I'd gladly let you. I'd be fine never spaying a dog again.

Same. Hate hate hate abdominal surgeries. Especially ones that involve breaking down ligaments next to giant blood vessels. You can spay all the dogs that come my way. I'd gladly let you. I'd be fine never spaying a dog again.
I'd much rather be scrubbing in on a TPLO or fracture repair -- although being primary surgeon and all alone in the OR is a fun feeling.Ugh I miss spaying and neutering. It needs to come back into my life. I'm probably awfully slow now though.
Ugh, yes 🙁 I've never broken down the suspensory ligament, and I still managed to have that sucker bleed in one of my dogs that was super in heat.Same. Hate hate hate abdominal surgeries. Especially ones that involve breaking down ligaments next to giant blood vessels.

Just had a 47#, deep chested in heat dog spay.... I could seriously see kidney trying to get the damn ovaries to exteriorize....😕😱

I have a meeting with a biomed researcher this week, and I'm setting up a meeting with a pathologist from work to talk about career things. I was nervous to e-mail them at first - I was worried the pathologist might open up his email and be like, why the heck is this random person asking me for advice? (I'm not completely random, but still. The worry was there) I was afraid I'd be wasting people's time, but everyone I've talked to has been so nice and so helpful. I seriously have such a great support system between the two universities here. I'm so thankful for these people.

I've been busy cycling between joy and disbelief. Three application cycles later, and despite my best efforts to convince them otherwise during the interview, a school finally offered me an acceptance

ahahaha can I have your number? 😛It makes me happy when a vet I did a preceptor with during 4th year (in my hometown) calls me to get my opinion on one of his cases. He's done it a half dozen times over the last year and a half, and each time it makes me feel almost giddy that he thinks well enough of me to call me up and chat about clin path stuff.
I'm always happy to bounce ideas around about differentials, just send me a message somehow. I hate looking at images of cytology though...too much margin for error without having the glass.ahahaha can I have your number? 😛

What is she?
shes so prettyyyyyyEnglish Setter. 😀 She was the first dog I got "on my own" and I just adore her to pieces. She had a great pet sitter stay in our home while we were away but is definitely playing the "I'm attention starved and need mom cuddles" card right now.
She's a looker .... beautiful dog! She looks glad to see you, too.Home from the bestest weekend in Minneapolis (including finally seeing some long time friends in their home town for once) and my old girl won't leave my side. Best feeling ever. 😍
