A few years ago I got into an OT program and failed out the first semester due to a variety of reasons (all of which have since been resolved). I plan on applying to programs again this cycle. However, my GPA is still low and I don’t see myself as that competitive of an applicant. I would like to know what the advantages would be (if any) of talking with the director of my previous program. Does anyone have any advice on what to say to him? While going back to that program may be an option, I’d prefer a fresh start at a different program.
