My bad reason that will make you frown? We went to endgame as villagers last game and I feel like we were *so close* to winning and I really, really want a do-over. And I can't get that if she's a wolf.

Better reason? I feel like she has a distinct brusqueness as a wolf that I don't feel this game.

I should clarify that if AM is a wolf I'm not going to be flabbergasted, she's just feeling like village AM right now and I'm hoping we can yeet a wolf soon so that she can be eliminated as a possibility.

I said I didn’t like her back and forth with PSV, voted alley cause her presence was significantly different this game, then I backtracked cause once she caught up she didn’t feel wolfy anymore and Genny was the most obviously wolfy person for me.

But you picked up correctly very early on. You tinfoiled she was wolfing even though she was nK on N1. By the end of SPN she had earned village cred thanks to her samac vote and me pushing for her as a wolf was against her “non bussing” meta

Oh, I read that differently, I saw her as voting for genny because genny's reasoning was insubstantial. Ironically, I'm not sure if that's very substantial reasoning, but still.

Specific to AM, I tunneled her incorrectly all of last game (mostly from deadchat) so I should not be used as any kind of basis for an AM read.

It's true, but you're good at this, and it isn't like you can't learn and grow as a player. I'm not just going to ignore your thoughts on AM because you were wrong about her previously. They just get... de-prioritized compared to players who have a history of reading her correctly.

I agree that out of the 11 or 12 villagers a Wolf-Dubz would have found a better target than Samac.

Oh jeez, she asked the wolves to misyeet her. That practically is begging to be NK because you have a PR (I don't know if she did, or maybe she was nilla and so trying to draw a NK?)

My first wolfy instinct seeing this is to NK, unless I WIFOM myself into thinking she's a bomb or PGO or the like, but this is a basics game. Doesn't meant the wolves wouldn't still be PR hunting, but they would likely be less nervous to NK a player that seemed to be asking for it.

I haven't seen context, only this post. I would only do so if I had a very compelling strategy reason to do so and could beg forgiveness of the pack for doing something so rude. Which as long as the strat reason was compelling enough they should do, because pack welfare comes first. That said, if it's for any other reason, especially these reasons that benefit the individual village players (like samac just modded or something) than no. The "courtesy" rules do not justify a single wolf unilaterally vetoing the choices of the rest of the pack and their thoughts and strategies. If you weren't around to debate, then you weren't around to debate. Now, if it seemed that the pack discussion was lacking and they essentially RNG'd a player, then I might as long as I had good reason as I said. If the pack gave reasons but I just didn't like them, I would not change anything and would hope for the best, especially with a the first kill of the game it's less critical if the choice is lame. In the vein of compelling reasons, say we had already said we wanted to kill the protector as soon as we found them, and forgot that our actions last night found them. Then I might. Or say we forgot there was a protector in game and I had reason to think the target was protected.

Basically, in general, no, it's rude. The only reason to change is if you think the pack was missing crucial intel, forgot an important detail, or a high chance the kill will fail for reasons that you strongly suspect, or the pack seemed to forget agreed upon before priorities. If it's effectively an RNG vote none of the other wolves seemed invested, maybe, but again you should only because you have good reason to think you have a better target, and ask forgiveness. It's risky because if it goes well, you're likely to be forgiven. If it backfires, that's all on you and you disrespected the pack and let them down.
