Do any schools offer reasons for rejecting people? I asked about LECOM Bradneton and they just told me the adcom didn't say, but is there any way to find out why so I can hopefully avoid making the same mistakes?

usually at the end of application season in may and june you can usually talk to someone at most schools and find out why. I havent heard it done before then. Mistake is probably the wrong word. You were lacking something to them and you could probably figure it out by looking at your application. You obviously applied early so that eliminates something that holds people back. If you actually interviewed with them then you just might want to rethink your questions and how you carried yourself.

as you know, med school admissions is a crap-shoot of a process.
I have understood that schools will almost always give you reasons for a rejection.
However, sometimes they don't really do a good job in mentioning the specifics and just say something like "getting into med school is hard, better luck next year." Also keep in mind that if you feel you had a good interview, that doesn't mean the rest of the AdComs were particularly impressed with your profile, and they might still vote against you despite your ambassador's (interviewer) attempts to persuade them otherwise.
In fact, I am pretty sure I was rejected last year on the basis of the AdComs not being able to get past my low MCAT score (22-R). I wasn't told this explicitly; only that getting into med school is tough and blah blah blah.
