has anyone received interview invitations recently?

from NY/NJ/PA schools, august mcat'ers with complete apps in november???


the waiting is driving me crazy!
i have been calling around, with no luck or useful information.
im afraid hotmail erased some emails on me (esp NYMC) although my status pg hasnt changed, but ive heard from accepted peeps that their's still says complete app....

wtf is going on here!

I'm an August MCATer and just got an invitation this week for an upcoming interview at Florida State. Turned it down, though, because I got into my top choice.

Hang in there - there's till time left. IT's not too late.

You can start to worry in late Feb.

hey, i just got my temple interview today...coincidentally i am in nyc interviewing for nymc...so i guess i'll stay another week and go to philly.

i think there's still hope for us agust mcaters. although i haven't heard back from most of my schools, i am not going to get worried until the end of february.

hey, don't lose hope. i also completed my apps in oct/nov, but my mcat's were done in 2002. i was invited to interview at einstein about 2.5 weeks ago. they are still setting up interviews, so keep the faith.

I was complete at Tufts the end of October and received and invitation for interview a few days ago.

I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry about it. They will come, when you least expect it. Believe me....this process has been full of surprises, good and bad.

I just got my Temple one. Either today or yesterday, I didn't check the date on it.

It's official, I hate New York. So far 3 of 4 SUNY schools have rejected me preinterview. The Downstate rejection should be coming any day now to complete sweep.

Guess who will never live in NY again.

Mine came by email. I was complete mid-September and the invite came in early October.

I just got an interview offer from Emory Today. It's kind of cutting it close, but I think it will be ok.

i've decided that there are black holes in my mailboxes (both electronic and snail). thus i am not able receive communications (rejections or interview offers) from 20+ med schools. thus it is not the med schools' fault that i am going insane, waiting, checking my email 3 times a day, praying that i get something other than credit card offers in the mail and experiencing the crushing disappointment of nothing.

somewhere in an alternate universe, an alternate spaz is complaining of the torrent of messages she receives from med schools when what she needs are more credit cards and more chances to find love through online dating services.
