Recommended IMG USMLE scores for internal medicine

Hi,
I'm a US citizen IMG, I'm taking USMLE step 2 CK exam next month, and I'm little nervous.
I'm looking forward to applying for IM (preferred) or pedia (less preferred).
What's the recommended USMLE step 1 and 2 scores to get a position in IM or at least pedia?

As high as you can get. I wouldn't say there's a magic number but certainly the top scorers have better odds and get considered by more places than those lower down. There isn't much value in worrying about what score you "need". Try to do yor best and ace the test. Whatever you end up with is what you have to work with.

However, average scores on CK have gone up significantly since 2011, as has the minimum pass score. So, these data are somewhat dated and you should assume that the "real" numbers today are higher.
