Hey Guys,

Today, I received a reference letter because I did a research project for one of my professors. I was wondering if this I would be able to use this reference letter when applying or not because. The main reason for me asking is that I'm only in first year and I don't know if the letter would actually mean much when applying.

Thanks!!

You could use it assuming the professor either submits it to AMCAS when you apply, to your pre-health office or interfolio now. Or you could ask the professor to hold onto it and change the date when you finally fill out the application.

You may even discover you don't want to submit it when you are a senior! You may have more letters than you need and only want to submit what you believe will be your best letters.
