Right now I'm thinking of applying to two specialities (FM and IM), I am going to email two FM attendings and two IM attendings to write me a letter. I know we need 3-4 LOR for each specialty so what should I do being short on LOR? Should I also ask one doctor from both specialities to write a general LOR with a specialized LOR?
Question 2) I rotated in a prestigious hospital but I don't think i meshed well with the program director. I know the PD's LOR would go along a way if its positive. How do I know if the PD would write me a strong LOR and not one that will be detrimental?
