All, last Friday (May 7th) I registered online to take the DAT. I guess I was confused because I thought I could say what date I wanted to take the test on that online form doo-hicker. But, I got a screen that says, "About one week after your application is processed you will be sent a leter with a toll-free number." Did this take a full week for y'all? I really need to get that # because I need to give the testing center 48 hours notice before I take the exam and I was hoping to take it this Friday (May 21) before I leave for vacation! Yikes! I know I screwed up...Just tell me I'll receive this toll-free # thing by tomorrow, at the latest!

It took a little over a week for mine to come. If everything has already been processed i don't see why you wouldn't be able to have prometric schedule you a spot immediately.

I thought I read somewhere that I had to give the testing center 48 hours notice. . .?? 😕

You do need to give 48hrs notice. But if all you are waiting for is the confirmation letter than prometric should already have your info and should be able to set you up for a testing date.

It took almost 2 weeks to get a letter from ADA after my registration. The reason it take so long is because they do your background check probably.

They process DAT registration applications only once a week - I think on Tuesdays. In my case I submitted mine on Monday, they processed it on Tuesday and I had my letter the following Saturday. If you submit on Wednesday then it will take about two weeks to get your letter. I think it gives the ADA time to transfer all of your info to Sylvan.
