Penn is random. i've seen ppl with 3.2s get interviews. I was surprised, but not disappointed. Bad location, too research oriented.

so don't worry. maybe they just didn't like my new haircut in the 2x2 photo i sent em.

Did we have to send a picture with our application? I didnt .. i dont remember them asking for one. I am definitely not going to get an interview there then... 19AA,19AA,16PAT, 3.9GPA

no, according to my knowledge we didn't have to send a photo in.

your gpa is stellar, i would assume u wouldn't have to worry about getting in, since your DATs are good too.
but who am i to say? i'm probably not even getting in!!...but what i do know is gpa & DAT cross comparisons... 😱 <--i love this emoticon

I like it too.. its cute.. I think i spent way too much time on this thread...every few hours its the same thing..i get online.. check infosource, check my mail, check SDN forums.. over and over again.. i am very stressed out by this whole process.. i cant wait till its over.. People interviewed this cycle with 3.0 cumulative GPAs (high DATs though). The location isn't that bad, being colocated with undergrad and med is nice I think.

wow.. penn is sending out those rejections left and right.. i havent gotten one yet but I have a feeling I will soon.. everyone's DAT scores are awesome.. and the GPA's are great too.. my stats are 3.9 GPA, 19AA,19TS,16PAT...this sucks..

I dont think you stand a shot at Penn cause of your DAT scores....Penn always takes pride in its high entering DAT average and with this year being so competitive, Im sure they have plenty of others to choose from....but, hey I could be wrong....just dont bank on it.

if you didn't get an interview with uop with those scores, then i doubt i have a chance. sigh....that is my top choice too.

I talked to them last week. They expect 20s across all. GPA is ~3.2-3.3. Your 3.1 is not that far off. It's probably your QR. I guess I just wasted $75.

I sent my $75 in after the lady had told me.
Reason: I still believe that UoP and some other Cal Schools look for more than just great GPA and DAT. Based on some recent posts, this seems to be the case. Maybe I'm over optimistic. Reading the interview thread really damages my nerves

zero.

just application denied on INFOSOURCE to maryland...everything else is "N/A" except for BU - interview. and creighton - want more stuff from me (though i've sent everything)

Send it in. You are who you are. Numbers don't tell the whole picture of you.

Personally, I think it's the QR 17 - UOP wants to see high DAT scores across the board and GPA's take a back seat to this.

Erbs what were your stats like? I am from Illinois and received an interview and a person to call on December 1st? Did you go on an interview with them and then get rejected? Or did they just send a letter out? Good luck with your plans

Rejection from TUFTS. Actually I rejected myself because I could not make the interview date. And they do not allow people to re-schedule. Just a heads up, be very careful when you schedule your interview date. Best of luck to everyone.

That's what they told me too. But I still don't believe it. Some in here have stellar stats that have not got an invitation. While at least one person in here has two 19s and one 18 and a 3.0 that got an invitation. Btw, happy late birthday!

Yikies. after reading these posts, i have decided that 1. the schools "accidentaly" put my application in the shredder, or 2. my rejection letters have gotten lost in the mail (what with state of snail mail nowadays, I'm not surprised). I feel this tremendous desire to curl up in a corner and cry (well, either that or threaten the schools with letter bombs if they don't accept me. 🙁
