Just got my first 2 rejections today. Marquette and UMKC. Oh well. I figured that UMKC was a long shot in the fact that I am out of state and I didn't even send im my secondary but it still hurts, sniff, sniff.

i am so frustrated today. i received four rejections today from ucla, u of pitt, u of penn, and baylor. getting one heart attack can kill someone, but getting four in one day is record-breaking.

Those numbers look great to me. Are you not a Cal resident? Maybe residency is why UCLA rejected you. Sorry to hear about your rejections.

for interviews in upitt, it seems to me good converstation with interviewer doesn't mean anything at all. i just don't know what they were really looking for in the half-and-hour conversation. 😕

Same here, Marquette, they strung me a long like fish to bait. I hate that! Would be nice of them to say when I call that you've been rejected rather than you're on hold. down right sleezeballish if you ask me.

Thanks man, I'm pretty resigned to the fact that I'm not getting in anywhere this year, I'm looking into an MS program but I still plan on dental school down the road.

just hang on, and don't loss any hope at this point, the application cycle hasn't over yet. if you don't get in this cycle, just re-apply. life is just simple as that. 🙂

I appreciate the support, but I also realize that this is my 2nd time in the cycle, it doesnt make sense to "just re-apply" without doing more to strenghten my application, so I'm still focused on the goal, but I'm realisitic about the fact that its going to take a much longer road to get there.

i didn't know this cycle was your second time. i am wondering if you tried to find out what your weakness in your application when you didn't get in the 1st try.
