Relationship with a female going into ortho, will residency make me paranoid about infidelity?

If you do not trust her- and it sounds like you don’t, from what you’ve written- you’re going to find residency very, very hard. There are a lot of late nights. There are a lot of times she will says she’s “leaving in 20min, promise” and then you won’t hear from her for 4 hours and she will come home exhausted bc she got pulled into a trauma case that she couldn’t get out of. If every time you find it hard to get a hold of her (hint: this will happen ALL THE TIME) your mind jumps to cheating, then you’re going to be in for a very rough 5 years.
