All I am saying is that a young woman in her mid twenties is mature enough to understand that a serious relationship with one of her students may lead to a conflict of interest and may not be a good idea. I am 22. Someone who is 25 is a grown woman to me.

I work with a lot of 25+ people at my internship (I'm actually the only one of a few 20 year olds in our department), and my old roommate was 25. The majority of 25 year olds are just as confused as they were in their early 20s. Nothing scary or different about them.

Talk to most adults and they will tell you that they still have, mostly, the same mental state that they did when they were 23. Yes, wisdom and rational changes, but for the most part it has been proven through psychological research. 25 is grown any way you cut it IMO.

I wish women were that easy to read sometimes. hahaha. Incidentally, I've been having girl problems of my own lately, but if this thread has taught me one thing, it's to not detail those problems here. On the other hand, I don't have anyone to give me advice on this stuff though. My older brother seems to be leaning towards being a priest and I don't have any close dude-pals. 😕 <--- Me when it comes to women/making friends with people. The resulting awkwardness is probably amusing to anyone observing from an outside perspective.

In any case, I would advise against going out with your TA during the semester, OP. Do whatever you want after the semester, but if she starts giving you good grades for banging her, it's pretty unethical. And if she's anything worth dating, she should understand that if you explain it to her; just tell her you should both act professional, and can start dating when the semester is over.

The OP definitely isn't considering a relationship with the TA with marriage a possibility. One could say you never know but I'm sure no girl wants to be described by her future husband like the OP has in this thread.
