relative strength of millitary residencies

I am looking up information about the Armed Services Scholarships and am curious about the strength of millitary residencies compared to civilian ones. How do they fair with Top-tier, Middle-tier, and Bottom-tier residencies? Also, how do civilian hospitals view physicians with millitary medical training? Thank you.
