Relocation Bonus

Ok. I know someone posted about this fairly recently, but I can’t find it.

I’m getting out this summer. Obviously the military will pay to move us. Spouse’s new job comes with a location bonus that we can’t seem to negotiate into a signing bonus. Anyway to get around that?

i replied. they rolled my spouse's relocation straight up into her signing bonus. i'm keeping relocation reimbursement on my contract and will use it creatively.
