hey guys!

i was just wondering...when you are using pharmcas and entering your coursework, if you repeated a class but took it at a different school, would you still designate it as repeated? For example, I took biochem. at UCI, then I retook it at IVC, but for the IVC course, would I designate it as repeated?

thanks!

As long as it was the same course then you will need to designate it as repeated

In that specific case it's actually not a repeat. In Pharmcas it's a repeat only if it's the exact same course taken at the exact same institution.

Call them up or email to make sure, but I went through this last year since I took a lot of repeat refresher courses since my bachelors was over six years ago. In all cases even if the course title was similar and the covered material was the same they said to not designate the courses I took as repeats.

Contact pharmcas (call or email), to make sure about your situation though, they are actually very responsive, especially this early in the cycle.
