Rescinding an Acceptance Question--please help

My acceptance letter says: "Applications of accepted students who fail to maintain their level of achievement may be reconsidered by our Admissions Committee"

I just got my final grades. What grade do you think is bad enough for them to rescind an acceptance?

I got a C- in a humanities class and my other grades are A, A- and Pass

My other question: For the Pass/Fail class, I actually got a B. Should I uncover the pass/fail option to show the B? The B would lower my GPA even more, but it might show that my "level of academic achievement" was maintained except for that one class.

I really don't know what to say other than you may want to contact your med school and see what they say...

I think your grades are fine Foxy :wink: There's no need to un-do Pass/Fail option because all the school cares about is you pass all your classes. Trouble only comes if and when D and F show up. :wink:

I think they are truly ok. I got a C fall quarter in biochemistry! Northwestern asked for a transcript at the interview in February, and I thought I was doomed, but to my surprise they still accepted me.

So, I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about unless you get a D or an F. If you have satisfactorily completed all of you premed requirements and met your degree requirements, they shouldn't have a problem.

i doubt that they'll rescind your acceptance for a C.
dont' stress out about it, and especially dont worry about the pass/fail thing, its not worth the trouble.

you will be fine. It would be totally idiotic of them to rescind your acceptance just because of one grade which is not even a failing one at that. After spending all that time analyzing your performance over the last four years, and your personality based upon the interview what would it be saying about their admissions process for an already granted admission to hinge on one C.
