I was wondering if anyone who is a current student or alumni from Penn State would be able to give some details regarding research at Penn State. I noticed they have below average NIH funding and saw a few core facilities and programs on their website. But how likely is it for med students to get research opportunities in competitive fields such as anesthesia, ophthalmology, derm, rad?
