Did you test a hypothesis?

I personally tend to discount research done as coursework, but that's just me. I'd prefer that you have done something that gave you an understanding of the scientific principle.

Keep inmind that research experience isn't as highly valued by Adcoms as most pre-meds think it is.

No, there wasn't a testable hypothesis. It did involve literature review and collecting data, but it was more about tracking how language usage by different groups changed over time.

I'm not really aiming for super research heavy schools (ideally, I would like to go to University of Arizona), so hopefully it won't be too much of an application killer.
